BBS Power Target displays your Best Bike Split race plan power targets in real-time as you ride through your course. The data field reads BBS Power Course (.FIT) files and shows your target wattage for each segment, with color-coded feedback showing whether you're above, below, or on target. Features Live power targets from your BBS race plan 5-second rolling average of actual power Color-coded zones: blue (below target), green (on target), red (above target) Arc gauge display on larger data field layouts Works with Edge and Fenix series devices Important: This data field requires Garmin Power Course (.FIT) files generated with Best Bike Split. GETTING YOUR BBS COURSE ON YOUR DEVICE Option A — Automatic: Connect your BBS and Garmin Connect accounts (bestbikesplit.com/member-connect-garmin) Generate a Race Plan in Best Bike Split Click "Upload to Garmin Connect" on your Race Plan Details page Option B — Manual: Download the Garmin Power Course .FIT file from your Race Plan Place the .FIT file in the "New Files" directory on your device SETUP Install "BBS Power Target" from Connect IQ and sync your device Create a "BBS Race" activity profile (copy your Road profile) Add BBS Power Target as a data field on your data screens Turn OFF ClimbPro and Segments to avoid pop-ups during your ride Set Navigation: Routing Mode → Straight Line, Lock on Road → Off, Navigation Prompts → Text Only, Sharp Bend Warnings → Off ON-DEVICE CHECKS (before each ride) Courses → Course Options: Turn Guidance Off, Off-Course Warnings Off Course → Settings: Route Calculation → Not Cached, Course Points → On Note (Edge 1050): you may need to re-set "Not Cached" each ride RACE-DAY FLOW Load your course and confirm "Not Cached" Select your BBS Race profile and press Start Power targets appear once you reach the course start TROUBLESHOOTING No power targets appearing: clear the course cache (Courses → select course → Route Calculation → Remove from Cache) and confirm ClimbPro/Segments are OFF Constant beeps: disable Turn Guidance and Sharp Bend Warnings For detailed setup steps: bestbikesplit.com/support-questions-and-answers#garminsteps
