On pace? One glance tells you. Full-screen data field for running and cycling: predicted finish time, live ahead/behind, the pace to hold, intervals and up to 6 data fields on one clear screen. Works right after install, no setup needed. One-time purchase: all features included, updates included Interface in English and French HIGHLIGHTS • Predicted finish time: green when on target, red when behind • Live ahead/behind and the pace to hold to finish right on target (speed when cycling) • Race goal: 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon or any distance, with remaining distance • Intervals: current repetition, time or distance left in the step, target and gap to target (green inside the range, red outside) • Reliable predictions: hidden for the first 500 m, based on average or recent pace (adjustable responsiveness) • Pace smoothed from 1 to 60 s (10 s by default), far steadier than raw GPS pace • 3 data profiles (e.g. easy run, race, bike), nameable and switched from the watch • On-watch settings menu: profile, data, layout, race goal, target time, sport, gauge position, theme • Automatic cycling mode: speeds, cadence in rpm, optional power gauge on FTP zones • Lap-button distance correction at kilometre markers DATA (39, up to 6 on screen) Race goal: predicted finish, ahead/behind, remaining distance, required pace. Intervals: repetition, step left, target, target gap. Pace and speed: current, average, lap, last lap, grade-adjusted pace, max speed. Distance and time: distance, time, lap, last lap, lap number, time of day. Heart rate: HR, average, max, HR zone, % of max HR. Power: current, 3 s, average. Terrain: ascent/descent, grade, altitude, cadence, average, stride length, calories. Unavailable data (no sensor, goal or workout) shows "--". INTERVAL WORKOUTS Start a scheduled workout: RunFlex follows each step automatically. Each step counts as a lap (lap distance and time restart) and pressing Lap to skip a step works. GAUGE AND STATUS BAR • Heart rate gauge on your zones (watch profile, % of max HR or bpm thresholds), optional overflow zone and heart in the zone color • Battery % (red below 15 %) and GPS (red when weak, hidden indoors: treadmill, indoor bike) CUSTOMIZATION • 9 themes: the gauge takes the theme gradient, light to dark as heart rate rises • 6 gauge styles: original or custom zones, gradients, single color, monochrome • Gauge and HR at the top or bottom; arc, marker, separators, fonts and labels adjustable • Automatic, compact, pace focus or distance/time focus layouts • All colors, including 4 custom #RRGGBB codes, with automatic readable contrast • Metric or imperial units, English and French interface • Essential settings first, advanced options after; reset available INSTALLATION 1. Install RunFlex from the Connect IQ Store. 2. Watch: Activity - Settings - Data Screens - add a 1-field screen - Connect IQ - RunFlex. 3. Settings: Connect IQ app - My Device - RunFlex - Settings, or right from the watch. Tip: turn off Auto Lap if you use the Lap-button distance correction. New: Grade-adjusted pace data field, the pace you'd run on flat ground for the same effort, based on heart-rate data from millions of runs. Most accurate on steady climbs; less precise on rolling terrain with short bumps. Requires a barometric altimeter.
