Descripción
A data field showing the furthest you got in any twelve consecutive minutes of your run. The Cooper test, without having to do anything for it. Add the field to a screen first. This is a data field, not an app: after installing you have to put it somewhere yourself. Hold UP, go to Activities and Apps → Run → Run Settings → Data Screens, pick a screen and set a field to Connect IQ → The Cooper Test. For the first twelve minutes it shows --. That is not a fault: there is no twelve minute window yet to answer from. Once there is, the number appears, and it stays for the rest of your run so you can read it at your leisure afterwards. Beyond that there is nothing to operate. No button, no lap press, no settings. Run the test in the middle of a longer session and the field picks it up by itself; it keeps track of which twelve minutes were your best. Twelve minutes of the clock, not of your timer. Pause the activity and the window keeps running, which costs you metres, because that is what a Cooper test is. Worth knowing • The number comes off a flying start, so it reads a little higher than a test run from a standstill. Compare it with your own earlier results from this field rather than with a norm table. • Metres or yards follows your watch's own setting. • On an athletics track the Track Run profile is a good deal more accurate than plain GPS, because it snaps to lane one. • The app asks for no permissions at all, needs no account and no internet, and sends nothing from your watch anywhere. It reads distance and the clock, and nothing else.
