Descripción

MoonWatch — Astronomical Chronograph Watch Face MoonWatch is a premium analog watch face inspired by the great mechanical chronographs of watchmaking history. Designed for Garmin AMOLED displays, it combines the elegance of a classic instrument with three rare astronomical complications you won't find on any other watch face. Features -Dauphine-style hour and minute hands with lume slot and bevel-tip -Chronograph seconds hand with red lollipop disc -Tachymeter scale on the outer bezel — measure speed or production rate with a single sweep Three astronomical subdials: 9 o'clock — Solar Constellation: the IAU zodiacal constellation (13 constellations, Ophiuchus included) currently traversed by the Sun, displayed as a 3-letter abbreviation (VIR, OPH, SGR…). The hand shows the Sun's progress through the constellation from entry (12h) to exit 3 o'clock — Equation of Time: the difference between true solar time and mean solar time, ranging from −14 min (early February) to +16 min (early November). The hand is centred on zero, with custom ±5 / ±10 / ±15 min graduation marks — the visual signature of the analemma 6 o'clock — Moon Phase: synodic algorithm (29.53-day cycle), with four phase icons around the dial Star field background with variable star brightness Always-On Display (AOD) mode: burn-in safe, all three subdials preserved with dimmed hands Tachymeter — two practical examples Speed measurement: Start the chronograph as you cross a milestone marker (km 0). Stop it when you reach km 1. Read the value on the bezel directly — if the seconds hand points to 120, you are travelling at 120 km/h. Production rate: Start the chronograph when a production cycle begins. Stop it when one unit is completed. The bezel reading gives you the hourly rate — if the hand stops at 80, your line produces 80 units per hour. Chronograph control: managed via the watch face settings in the Garmin Connect app (Start / Pause / Reset).
