Everyone says horror movies don't scare them. Your watch knows better. Fright Night turns your heart rate into a fright meter. Start a session before a horror movie, a haunted house or a scary game, and the app catches every jump scare: a sudden spike in your pulse while your body stays perfectly still. When the night is over you get your Scare Score and the moment you jumped the most. **How it works** - 15 seconds of calm: the app measures your resting heart rate first - Live screen: your pulse, a fear meter that fills as your heart races, and the session clock - BOO! A screaming skull pops up the moment a scare is detected, with how many beats your heart jumped, and a short buzz so you feel it without looking. The watch buzzes only after a scare it caught: it never scares you itself - Press BACK (or tap the screen) to mark a scary scene - Press START to end the night, then save it, share it or throw it away **The verdict** - Scare Score from 0 to 100, in a ring of 20 skulls - Your rank: Fearless Ghost Hunter, Nervous Nelly, Total Chicken or Dead of Fright - The evidence (scroll down): your heart rate through the whole movie with a skull on every big scare, your biggest jump and when it happened, your peak and your calm heart rate **Garmin Connect** Save the night as an activity: your heart rate, a Fright chart, the marked scenes as laps, and Scare Score, scares and biggest jump in the summary. **Share the night** Press SHARE at the end of the night and a page opens on your phone with your score card: your score, your rank and your heart rate through the movie, with a skull on every big scare. Share the picture itself to any messenger or social network, or save the tall version for a story. Want your name on it? Type it in the app's settings in Garmin Connect. **The leaderboard** Every night of 10 minutes or more that you share goes on the public leaderboard. A night of 55 or more goes to the Most Scared, below 55 to the Bravest, and each name keeps its record in each: the highest, and the lowest. No name set? You play as Anonymous. **Haunted History** Your last 10 nights and your Most Scared record. **Made for** - Horror movie nights: compare scores, share the cards and find out who is the biggest chicken - Haunted houses and escape rooms - Horror games - Scary rides Scores are measured against your own calm heart rate, so a calm athlete and a nervous viewer are compared fairly.
