Description
All-in-one data field for hiking, walking, or other trekking sports. I'm resurrecting the original HikeField by tymmej, adding support for new Garmin devices, and adding some new features. Installation instructions if you need them: youtu.be/T7PyxWNJheE The green circle in the center shows how much daylight you have left. This starts at 100% when you start your hike, and ticks down to sunset. When the circle is down to 50%, consider turning around :) Shows a number of hike-related data items, such as distance, ascent, elevation, steps, etc, in a clean layout. You can display up to eight different data items at a time (in large print). If you want to see even more data, you can show up to seven more items in the small (gray) text that normally shows field titles (eg, show both ascent and descent in the same box, replacing the word "ASCENT", if you want). Notable features: * Display up to 17 different pieces of information on a single screen (eight large boxes and seven smaller fields, plus the daylight circle) * Remaining daylight indicator, shown as a countdown or a green circle in the center. * Screen layout is fully customizable via the "Settings" menu. Show any data item almost anywhere * Can show distance, time, speed, pace, steps, heart rate, HR zone, cadence, grade, elevation, max elevation, total ascent/descent, and distance to starting point (as-the-crow-flies). * Completely free, no ads, no nagging, no limitations. This is purely a passion project for others to use and enjoy. Happy trails!
