Description
Knotlog keeps your logbook while you sail. Two actions on the watch: "Cast off" when you leave, "Moored" (START key) when you are in port, on a mooring or at anchor. WHAT IT DOES • Nautical miles over ground, speed in knots, course over ground and time under way • Every port goes into the log with position and time, 5 seconds to undo a mistaken press • Air pressure from the watch barometer; wind and air temperature from the phone's weather service when available • Several legs form one voyage until you choose "New voyage" • The track is also saved as a sailing activity in Garmin Connect • Without a connection every leg waits on the watch and uploads later • Always dark, warm colours only at night to keep your night vision SET UP 1. Create a free account at knotlog.app 2. Open the app, enter the code shown on the watch at knotlog.app/w on your phone 3. Press START to cast off Crew, photos and port names you add later on the phone or the web. Watches: round AMOLED and MIP (epix 2 Pro 47 mm, fenix 7, fenix 8 47 mm, Forerunner 255, 265 and 965, Venu 3, vivoactive 6). No Instinct. Knotlog is a logbook, not a navigation device. Use your chartplotter and charts to navigate. Permissions: Positioning (GPS track and ports), Sensor (barometer), Fit (activity in Garmin Connect), Communications (pairing and upload to knotlog.app).
