Description
Prelude brings your Plex music library to your Garmin watch, the same way Spotify and Deezer do, but from a server you own. • Sign in by entering a short code at plex.tv/link. No password on the watch. • Sync playlists, albums or whole artists over Wi-Fi. • Plays offline. Leave your phone at home. • Works with any library: MP3 and AAC copy across untouched; FLAC and ALAC are converted to MP3 by your Plex server. The watch asks first, or set it to always convert. • Prefers a direct connection to your server on your home Wi-Fi, and falls back to remote access when you are away. Free, with no adverts, no accounts and no tracking. FAQ Does it stream from my server? No. Music is downloaded to the watch and plays offline, with no phone and no network. My library is FLAC. Will it work? Yes. When you add FLAC music, Prelude offers to convert it, just this time or always (the Default conversion setting). Your Plex server converts to MP3 as it sends. Nothing on the server is changed. Why is my Recently Added playlist empty? Plex smart playlists report a track count but return no tracks over the API. Use a normal playlist, an album, or an artist. Why do I need my phone to choose music? Browsing your library goes through the phone; downloading uses the watch's own Wi-Fi. So pick music with the phone nearby, then sync on the charger. Nouveautés
New in 1.0.8: Albums and Artists open on a letter list, so you can jump straight to S instead of scrolling the whole library. Loading gives up after 25 seconds with advice instead of waiting for minutes, and the Add music counts update as soon as you add something. Tip: once music is on the watch, tap the three dots on the player, then the play-shaped button, to get back to Prelude's list.
