Description
Run together with a group workout. One runner leads, everyone else follows. The leader runs a normal Garmin workout. Friends' watches show the leader's current step, target and time or distance left, next to their own pace, heart rate and distance. Pace turns green inside the target and amber outside it. When the leader starts, pauses, resumes, changes step or finishes, friends feel a vibration and see what to do (for example "Leader paused - press STOP"). Everyone records their own activity. How to use: 1. Add Group Run as a 1-field data screen in your Run activity. 2. In the field's settings choose Lead or Join, then reopen Run. 3. Leader: start your run (optionally with a workout). Your screen shows your group number and how many friends follow. 4. Friends: open Run near the leader and wait for "FOLLOWING #number". Follow the prompts and press the buttons yourself. Notes: watches connect over ANT within a short range. If the leader is out of range, friends see "Leader lost" and can keep running alone (SOLO). Small-memory watches (e.g. Forerunner 245/55) can only Join.
