Description
Use your compatible Garmin watch data on a larger, customizable cycling display on your iPhone. Pedal Display Link is the companion data field for Pedal Display. Your watch keeps recording the native Bike activity while the iPhone displays the received data. LIMITED BETA This field requires the Pedal Display iOS app distributed through TestFlight. Access depends on beta availability. Check the installation page before downloading the field. Android is still in preparation. Pro is unlocked in the app at no charge during the beta. The Garmin field is free. After the beta, Pro features may become an optional purchase in the phone app store. Joining the test is not a purchase and does not start automatic billing. SETUP 1. Install this field through Connect IQ Store and sync your watch in Garmin Connect. 2. In your Bike activity profile, add Pedal Display Link to a one-field data page. 3. Scan the QR and follow the page to access the phone app beta. 4. Open the app on the SAME iPhone paired to your watch through Garmin Connect and select your Garmin. 5. Keep Bike open on the watch. The field shows Waiting, then Connected when the phone confirms data reception. DATA Time, distance, speed, heart rate, laps and other metrics available from your watch. Cadence, power and gears require compatible sensors and model support. GPS and weather depend on available data. Unavailable measurements are not fabricated. EXPERIMENTAL COMPATIBILITY Forerunner 255, 265, 955/Solar and 965; fēnix 7/7S; epix Gen 2; Venu 2/3. These targets passed compilation and simulator tests. The 955 has previous hardware test coverage; the other models still need physical validation. Only variants listed by this store are included. This does not work with every Garmin: Connect IQ API 5.0 or later is required. This beta does not provide a direct connection to a second phone while preserving the existing phone pairing. The field does not replace Garmin Connect. This is not an official Garmin product and does not promise every Edge feature. Experimental compatibility expanded to nine Garmin targets with simulator tests; physical validation of additional models remains pending.
