Description
Start and pause your Ritmo Óptimo session from your watch. With this data field, pressing START on your Garmin also starts the session in the Ritmo Óptimo app on your phone, and stopping the watch pauses the app with you. Your phone stays in your pocket. How to use it: 1. Add the field to a data screen of your activity (for example, Run). 2. In the Ritmo Óptimo app, open today's session and turn on "Empezar con el reloj Garmin" (start with the Garmin watch). 3. Tap COMENZAR (start) in the app: the session is ready. Press START on the watch and off you go. STOP pauses it and START resumes it. 4. When you are done, finish the session in the app as usual: saving the activity on the watch does not close it on the phone. The watch shows whether it is linked: - Green dot, "Linked": the app is listening. - Red ring, "No connection": the app has stopped answering. - Grey ring, "Waiting for app": no answer yet. In a small data field you may only see the dot: filled means linked, a ring means not linked. You need: - The Ritmo Óptimo app on an Android phone and a Ritmo Óptimo athlete account. It does not work on iPhone yet. - The Garmin Connect app on the same phone, paired with your watch. The field is free. Ritmo Óptimo is a training service: its terms are at ritmooptimo.com. Privacy: the field only sends the watch's timer state (running, paused or stopped), its time and the watch clock time to the Ritmo Óptimo app on your phone.
