Description
Counts your surf waves right on your Garmin watch and sends every session to the Surf's Up app. - Add the field to the screen of your Surfing activity (or any GPS activity). - Waves are counted by GPS with the same rule as the Surf's Up Apple Watch app: a ride must go toward the shore, last at least 3 seconds and cover 20 m or more. Paddling out and drifting are not counted. - On the watch: number of waves and the length of the last one. - After the activity, Garmin Connect on your phone sends the session (your path in the water and the waves) to your Surf's Up account. There you see every wave on a satellite map, its speed and length, and your records. Setup: in the Surf's Up app open Sessions, then Profile, then Garmin watch. Copy your code and paste it into this field's settings in the Connect IQ app. Requires a Surf's Up account (Surf's Up surf school, Weligama, Sri Lanka).
