Unlike apps and widgets, it does not appear on the watch menu after you download it. Instead, it can be added to native apps. The procedure may change from device to device, so check the manual to be sure. In general, it should be something like this: - Open an activity (e.g. "Run") - Press and hold the MENU/UP button to open the menu - Choose "Run Settings" - Choose "Data screens" - Choose "Screen 1" - Chose "Edit data fields" - Choose the first field - Choose "Connect IQ" - Choose "Track" . ______ How to open the settings ______ To configure a data field, you can use the Garmin Connect Mobile app on your phone or the Garmin Express on your computer. Using your phone: - Open the Garmin Connect Mobile app on your phone - Look for "Garmin Devices" on the main menu; - Choose your device - Then "Connect IQ Apps" - Then data fields - Then Track - Then Settings ____ This data field shows your track and colors it according to your speed in each segment (relative to the average speed) The trial version stops showing the track after some period.
