Description
TubeWitch for SKS AIRSPY is a FREE Garmin Data Field that brings SKS AIRSPY ANT+ tire-pressure data to compatible Garmin Edge devices and watches. It offers extensive customization, flexible display and label options, configurable low/high pressure targets, and audible, pop-up, and vibration pressure alerts designed to prevent nuisance duplicate alarms. Troubleshooting: TubeWitch.com/AIRSPY **** ALERT: SAVING SETTINGS WITH THE CONNECT IQ MOBILE APP IS AFFECTED BY A BUG IN THE GARMIN IQ SYSTEM. MAKE SURE THE TUBEWITCH DATA FIELD IS VISIBLE ON YOUR GARMIN DEVICE WHEN CHANGING SETTINGS. IF SETTINGS STILL DO NOT SAVE, TRY USING GARMIN EXPRESS. **** Required: Use the Garmin Connect IQ mobile app or Garmin Express to enter SKS AIRSPY numeric sensor IDs and pressure targets in the TubeWitch settings. See screenshots and tips below. Tips: ● Install TubeWitch, then reboot your Garmin device and restart the Garmin Connect IQ mobile app. ● On your Garmin device, add the TubeWitch Data Field to a data screen and LEAVE IT VISIBLE. ● In the Connect IQ mobile app, go to the TubeWitch settings and enter the numeric part (#####) of your sensor IDs. Find ID's printed on the bottom of the sensors or in the SKS mobile app. ● Enter the Low and High pressure target values in your selected pressure unit. ( PSI, kPa, or BAR) ● Rotate your wheels to wake up the sensors. ● During setup, you may see the message “Sensor uses an open connection.” This is normal and means the sensors do not send data using encryption. ● If data is not displayed after setup, reboot to trigger the messages again; they must be acknowledged before data can be received. ● To avoid conflicts, uninstall any other AIRSPY Data Fields, then reboot your Garmin. ● **** When changing settings with the Connect IQ app, TubeWitch MUST BE VISIBLE on your Garmin. ● **** Try using Garmin Express if the Connect IQ mobile app fails to save settings. **** FAQs: ● What SKS products are supported? TubeWitch currently supports SKS AIRSPY sensors with ANT+ support. ● Is it accurate? Yes, TubeWitch displays pressure decoded directly from the SKS AIRSPY ANT+ broadcast. ● Why is a “?” shown next to pressure? The displayed reading is retained but stale because TubeWitch has not received a recent sensor broadcast. ● Why is an “X” shown next to pressure? During an activity, TubeWitch reached its configured Sensor Timeout and stopped searching for that position to conserve battery. Touch the data field to rescan on supported touch devices. ● Will it work with more than two sensors? Yes. Save up to five named bikes or wheel sets. Manually select the active sensor set, choose Auto to scan configured sets, or use Touch to Switch. Only one sensor set is displayed at a time. ● Can I mix and match SKS AIRSPY and TyreWiz or AIRMAX sensors? Yes, but you would need both versions of TubeWitch installed. Each sensor type would be contained to its own respective data field. ● Will it record tire-pressure data to the Garmin activity? Yes, when enabled in TubeWitch settings. ● Does the TubeWitch Data Field offer features that the SKS Data Field doesn't have?? Flexible layouts, labels, colors, per-sensor low/high targets, configurable alerts, stale-data indicators, FIT recording, five sensor sets, and more. Nouveautés
Version 1.01 – Bug fix Version 1.00 – Initial release If upgrading, reboot your Garmin device and restart your Garmin Connect IQ mobile app to comlpete the update. SETTINGS: ACTIVE SENSOR SET ● Choose which Sensor Set is shown in the Data Field. Manually select the active set or use Auto to scan configured sets every 10 seconds. If you only have one set, Auto is not recommended. SENSOR SET #1–5 ● Sensor Set Name – Shown in Connect IQ stats when activity recording is enabled. ● Enabled Sensors – Front, Rear, or both. ● Front and Rear Sensor IDs – (Enter only the numeric part of the sensor id, #####. Find the sensor ID printed on the bottom of AIRSPY sensor or in the SKS mobile app.) ● Front and Rear Low Target / High Target – Optional pressure-alert limits in the selected unit of measure. A value of 0 disables that individual limit. UNIT OF MEASURE DISPLAY ● Unit of Measure – PSI, kPa, or BAR. Garmin reboot required. Pressure targets are not converted automatically; after changing units, re-enter targets using values in the new unit of measure. ● Decimal Places – Number of digits to the right of the decimal. This can cause labels to be truncated. ● Show Unit of Measure. SENSOR LABELS ● Show Front/Rear Labels in the Data Field. ● Show Sensor IDs in the Data Field. ● Show Sensor Set Name in the Data Field. ● Label Delimiter used on horizontal layouts. DISPLAY ● Display Style Mode – TubeWitch Mode is the default and may be unavailable on some devices that are not yet fully supported. Compatibility Mode uses dynamic sizing and positioning. ● Layout Orientation – Auto, Vertical, or Horizontal. Horizontal Orientation is not available in narrow fields while using TubeWitch Display Mode. ● Background Color – Auto, Light, or Dark. TOUCH SETTINGS ● On supported touch-screen devices, tapping the field can switch Sensor Sets, disable TubeWitch, rescan after timeout, or stop remaining alarm repeats. SENSOR TIMEOUT ● Timeout in Minutes – Default 15 minutes. During an activity, TubeWitch times out if no sensor data is found. It does not time out when an activity is not started. AUTO SWITCH SCAN DELAY ● Delay in Seconds – Default 60 seconds. If both sensors disconnect while Active Sensor Set = Auto, TubeWitch waits for this delay before scanning other configured sets for 10 seconds each. HIGH/LOW PRESSURE ALARMS ● Audible Alert – Not available on all watches. ● Pop-Up Alert – Newer devices only. ● Vibration Alert – Watches only. ● Set how many seconds a tire must be High/Low before triggering an alarm ● Set how many seconds pressure must be within target before resetting an alarm. ● Set how many times alarm will repeat (90 seconds apart) ● Audible Alarm Tone ● Data Field Alarm Box\Font Color (Color change is always active and always instantaneous) ACTIVITY RECORDINGS Garmin reboot required after changing recording settings. ● Record Pressure. ● Record Pressure Alarm Status. ● Record Pressure Stale Data Indicator. ● Record Sensor Set # Used.
