Description
Dedicated screen for built-in Garmin activities Can be added as a full or split screen to any activity (e.g., Running, Cycling, Sailing, Walking, Kayaking). The app requires a connection to your phone in order to refresh information about wind direction and speed every 5 minutes. Visual dynamic wind arrow 1. On your watch, open the activity menu (e.g., select Run, Bike, or Sail). 2. Press and hold the MENU button (the middle button on the left, or access Activity Settings). 3. Select [Activity Name] Settings - Data Screens. 4. Scroll down to the bottom and select Add New (or edit an existing screen). 5. Choose Custom Layout - 1 Field (for a full, easy-to-read wind screen with the complete compass rose) or a 2/3-field layout. 6. Select the data field you want to edit and navigate to the Connect IQ Fields category. 7. Select WD Activity Field from the list. All set! During your activity, switch to the newly added screen — once a GPS signal is acquired and connected to your phone, the watch will display the wind direction and speed in m/s.
