Description
Let's be real for a second, you didn't buy a Garmin to stay indoors. You bought it to move, explore, and keep track of what your body is doing along the way. Fenix 8 - SURGE NIGHT is built for that mindset. Clear data. Outdoor-ready. Nothing extra, nothing missing. This dial is about awareness. Of time. Of effort. Of where you are. THE MATH IS SIMPLE: This dial costs about the same as your morning coffee. The coffee is gone in 15 minutes. This stays on your wrist 24/7. ⭐️ THE DASHBOARD (Specs): - Shared data pool: every gauge and every top slot can show any metric from its group /// NEW - Hide hands: long-press the center of the screen - Tap shortcuts: tap any data zone to open its Garmin app. - Hide Leading Zero (12h mode) FIXED DATA (Always Visible): - Temperature (°C / °F with unit icon) - Weather (16 custom icons) - Day of the Week - Date (day of month) CONFIGURABLE DATA SLOTS (6 Slots): Top Left & Top Right Slots — each one picks any 1 of the same 10 metrics: - Distance (km / miles) - Calories - Heart Rate - Stress - Active Minutes (weekly) - VO2 Max - Altitude (m / ft) - Pressure - Sunrise, Sunset. Same metric on both sides? Different ones? Your call. Top, Left & Right Gauges — each one picks any 1 of the same 12 metrics: - Heart Rate (gauge based on max HR %) - Battery Gauge (rotating needle) - Battery Percentage (digital) - Body Battery - Stress Level - Floors Climbed - Respiration Rate - VO2 Max - Recovery Time - Active Minutes (weekly) - Altitude (m / ft) - Wind Speed (with gauge). Three gauges, one shared list. Put Body Battery on top, Altitude on the left, Heart Rate on the right — or any combination you want. Bottom Slot — choose 1 of 5: - Steps - Sleep Time - Pressure - Altitude - UV Index. CUSTOMIZATION & MODES: - 6 Custom Backgrounds Sleep / AOD Mode: All data visible, same layout as active mode, automatic Metric / Imperial unit conversion (based on Watch settings). ⭐️ A TECHNICAL REALITY CHECK (Read this, please): For MIP Screen Owners: your watch display is designed for outdoor visibility, battery efficiency, and reliability — not OLED-style brightness. SURGE NIGHT is tuned to stay readable in motion, under sunlight, and in real-world conditions. It won't glow like a smartphone screen because your watch isn't a smartphone. If you know your gear, you know what to expect. If you want something flashy, look elsewhere. If you want clarity, awareness, and trail-ready data, buy SURGE NIGHT. Have a great NIGHT. David | Timefy
