Description
A Garmin wearable app for displaying information from evcc (https://evcc.io), an open-source software package for solar charging of electric vehicles. The legacy version is intended for older device generations such as Fenix 6 and 6 Pro, Forerunner 745 and 945, and Vivoactive 3 and 4. It will not receive new features, but will continue to receive bug fixes and updates required to remain compatible with changes to the evcc API. For details on settings, interface, and troubleshooting, visit: https://evccg.metiq.com/legacy Connectivity (must read!) Garmin wearables depend on a smartphone for network access. If you use a VPN solution like Tailscale on your phone to connect to evcc, the watch can access it as well. With iOS phones, the evcc HTTP interface is supported. With Android phones Only HTTPS is supported, requiring a valid certificate. To enable HTTPS for evcc, you can set up a reverse proxy (e.g., NGINX or Synology DiskStation) and obtain a free SSL certificate from Let's Encrypt.
