説明
Powered by www.runningwithpower.com, RunPowerModel is your power meter for running or hiking activities, in the form of a data field which integrates seamlessly into your existing activity profiles! It can be used as a wrist-only power meter, or in combination with a RunningDynamics device (Garmin's run pod, HRM Pro/Tri/Run belts...) for more accurate results. RunPowerModel is not only designed for those who like to run on the streets but especially also for trail runners. The algorithm behind RunPowerModel corresponds to a self-developed semi-analytical physical model. This means that the components behind the final power number are all physically motivated, but some of its parameters are adjusted to yield reasonable results. It was designed and tested to work under and automatically adapt to various conditions, including uphills and downhills of arbitrary inclination as well as technical trails. For runners who also cycle and know their corresponding power output, the values calculated by RunPowerModel are directly comparable to that. RunPowerModel calculates your running power and derived quantities and displays them on your watch on a single data field. That way, seamless and neat integration into your existing running profile is ensured. You can display and customise the output as follows: - Current power (rolling average of the last 3 s, 10 s, 30s*, 1 min*, 3 min*, or 10 min*) - Average workout power* - Normalized Power (NP)* ** - Intensity Factor* ** (IF, requires an FTP value to be set) - Training Stress Score* ** (TSS, also requiring FTP value) You can choose between either displaying each of the single values constantly or the values of choice switching every few seconds (*). The calculated values will show up in your workout summary in Garmin Connect under Connect IQ, together with the total exerted work and burned calories*, an equivalent average flat pace*, as well as the Trail Score (trail / total power) and Running Score (periodic vertical / total power, *). In addition, you can specify - A backpack weight; - Your Functional Threshold Power, either directly in W or your threshold pace; - If to save battery by updating the display only every few s; - If the internal instant-pace calculation shall be used on the trail (requires RunningDynamics); - If wind from the weather information shall be included in the calculation (*). Please note: - If you have a Running Dynamics-delivering device (Garmin HRM Run/Tri/Pro or Pod), the calculations become more precise. - For watches without a barometric altimeter the values are less accurate because of the GPS-based altitude readout (even when running completely flat). RunPowerModel has an internal algorithm to reduce this inaccuracy. - Barometric altimeter accuracy varies between watch types - e.g. the altimeter of a Forerunner 945 generally performs better than that of a vivoactive. - Your user weight and height has to be correctly set in Garmin Connect, otherwise default values will be used. - * above: Only for devices with sufficient memory (Forerunner 945, 745, 245 and 645 Music, Fenix 6 Pro) References: - ** About Normalized Power, Intensity Factor and Training Stress Score. https://www.trainingpeaks.com/learn/articles/normalized-power-intensity-factor-training-stress/ - The role of elastic energy storage and recovery in downhill and uphill running: https://journals.biologists.com/jeb/article/215/13/2283/10916/The-role-of-elastic-energy-storage-and-recovery-in - For more information about running with power, have a look at runningwithpower.com
新機能
2.5.6: - Added support for new watch models 2.5.5: - Added support for new watch models - Small fix for very steep and slow uphills (more improvements to come) 2.5.4: - Added support for FR 165 models 2.5.3: - Added support for new watch models (Venu 3, vivoactive 5...) 2.5.2: - Fixed issue with average Equivalent Flat Pace - values should now be improved in many cases - Currently Intensity Factor now displayed in units of permille (i.e. CIF = P / FTP x 1000) - Added support for new watch models 2.5.1: - Added support for new watch models (FR 965 & 265...) 2.5.0: - Improved trail-power calculation. CAUTION: Trail score values are now generally higher! - Added Equivalent Flat Pace (EFP) to the list of displayable values (only for devices with sufficient memory) - Now automatically calculating EFP in the chosen units (metric/statute) - Fixed lap calculation for structured workouts 2.4.2: - Improved calculation for treadmill running etc. 2.4.1: - Added support for Forerunner 255 and 955 series - Possibility to display lap power on devices with sufficient memory 2.4.0: - No unlock key needed anymore 2.3.4: - Some optimisations for devices with lower available memory - Live display of Intensity Factor now showing current Power relative to the FTP (not the overall NP) 2.3.3: - Adapted calculation for uphill walking at medium inclines, can lead to up to 5-10% lower Power values - Slight increase of Power output for steep descents 2.3.2: - Corrected calculation of total work and TSS for activities with interruption in between - Added support for several new devices (fenix 7 etc.) 2.3.1: - Added support for FR 945 LTE and 55 2.3.0: - Calculation improvements, mainly regarding uphills and trails - Using user weight instead of total weight for equiv. flat pace - Reintroduced features for low-memory devices (rotation mode, weather usage, rolling avg. up to 30s, and TSS in workout summary) 2.2.1: - Minor calculation improvements - Possibility to switch instant-speed usage on the trail on and off (requires RunningDynamics) 2.2.0: - Improved general calculation - Better equivalent speed calculation for RunningDynamics - Improved memory management for relevant devices 2.1.0: - Added lap information for average power* - Numerous smaller improvements *Only on devices with sufficient memory (e.g. not on vivoactive, Fenix 5 etc.) 2.0.1: Small bug fix 2.0.0: Many improvements and additions - Introducing the Trail Score and Run Score charts: - The trail score evaluates how effectively you run technical sections, where a lower number for a given trail corresponds to a more efficient trail running technique. - Similarly, the Run Score corresponds to the fraction of periodic vertical to the total power - also here lower numbers imply a better running technique. - Added trail power calculation even when no RunningDynamics available and improved calculation when available - New values calculated and added to workout summary: - Equivalent flat pace* (calculated from average workout power) - Total exerted work* - Burned calory estimate* - Automatic FTP calculation from user-defined threshold pace - Battery-saving mode (for long activities): If switched on, display will be updated only every few seconds. - Improved altitude readout - Added support for vivoactive 3 and 4 series, Venu and Venu 2 series, and Legacy Hero watches *Only on devices with sufficient memory (e.g. not on vivoactive, Fenix 5 etc.) v. 1.1.1: - Small improvement for steep downhills v. 1.1.0: - Improved calculation with less fluctuations - When app is not yet unlocked, the watch will display "-L-" instead of "--" before starting the activity v. 1.0.1: - Added compatibility for Forerunner 245 and 245 Music - Shortened setting explanations to avoid cutting on some devices
