Bastion is an analog watch face: large hands, a minute track, and a clear 12, with four configurable fields instead of a crowded instrument panel. Two subdials, a date window, and one field under 12. Each field is an icon plus a value. Subdials can draw a progress ring for steps, battery, Body Battery, and the other values that have a goal. The hands come in three shapes (sword, baton, arrow) and three colors. Numerals can be 12 only, or 12, 3, 6, and 9. The same dial code follows a round screen, a tall rectangle, a wide screen, and the Instinct shape. Night Ops turns the face dim red from sunset to sunrise, or all the time. On AMOLED watches the always-on screen is the hands and the date, dimmed and shifted on each update so it does not burn in. The second hand shows only while the watch is awake. Background art is optional and stays faint: a topographic map, a grid, a range target, a radar scope, or a compass rose. Ten color themes, from Recon Blue to Night Ops Red. Bastion runs on the same broad set of Garmin watches as a full-size face, round and rectangular, and drops fonts and art on watches that do not have the memory for them. Watches with physical hands keep the dial and leave the hands to the hardware. Like Bastion?
