Point your wrist. Read the ridgeline. Peak Finder turns your Garmin into a live compass panorama of the summits and alpine huts around you. Names float above each peak as you face it. - Works anywhere in the world: Alps to Andes, Cascades to Carpathians, plus the no-name hill you've been staring at every morning. Peak Finder automatically finds the mountain peaks and huts around you and shows the visible peaks in a 75 km (46 mi) radius around you! - Works offline: First time in a new area, it pulls up to 4000 peaks from OpenStreetMap and caches them on the watch. You can also pre-load three 75 km areas before you go hiking in case there's no internet! - Navigation (NEW): Point at a peak and navigate towards it! (NOTE: Due to a firmware bug in fenix8 and fenix9 navigation doesn't start automatically. I have contacted Garmin with a bug report. A stylish drop-in replacement for the stock Garmin compass glance. IMPORTANT: The app uses the compass on your watch. The compass needs to be calibrated from time to time. The first time in a new area it requires a phone and internet conection. It fetches up to 3500 peaks in a 75 km radius. It allows you to filter peaks by distance to you and height above sea level. It also has zoom levels so you can see the peaks more clearly. ===============================
