!!!!!NOTE!!!!! !!!!!PLEASE READ!!!!! !!!!!NOTE!!!! To get an API key, you MUST have a weather station that sends data to Weather Underground (see below). Do not leave bad reviews if you do not meet this requirement. It's Weather Underground's requirement and not mine! If you like the app, and want to buy me a cold drink, you can do so by way of https://www.paypal.me/jimm58 One thing people have an issue with is that in order to get an API Key, you need to have a Weather Station that sends data to WU. But once you have the key, you can get data from any WU Personal Weather Station, With an Ecowitt GW1100 Gateway and an Ecowitt WH32 outdoor temperature and humidity sensor (combined cost about $45 US), you have the basics, but can add wind and rain sensors if you want.. I'm sure there are other low cost options, but this is the only one I've looked into personally. The data looks good compared to the data from another Weather Station I've used for years. Before you leave a bad review with no text, please, please use Contact Developer on the right and ask if you are having a problem. It's probably something simple! Two screens of data on watches, and a background process on newer watches, so the data you see will be current, with no delay! On non watches with a larger screen, all the data is on a single screen. Using "menu" gives you an option to switch locations, and you can set your own weather station using App Setting to skip the initial GPS fix. If you have a key, you are NOT restricted to onlu your weather station, but can get data from any available one. From Weather Underground: First, instructions for getting a new key: First, if you are not logged into Weather Underground, you will need to do so. You must log in using the same email address as the PWS. To do that, go to wunderground.com, click on “my profile”, click on “member settings”, and log in if you are not already. Then navigate on the screen to My Profile | Member Settings | API Keys. If you have a PWS registered, you will see a blank box below “Your API keys”. Agree to the new Terms and Conditions by clicking in the small box next to “I agree”, click on the blue “GENERATE” box, and your new key will be created. The key will be masked on the screen, but you can use the “Show” link below the box to see it. There is also another blue box, which, when clicked, copies the key to your clipboard. Also on this page is a link to the documentation.
