Your DataFuel fuelling plan in your ride or run screen: what to take, and when. DataFuel turns your training into a fuelling plan. This data field puts that plan in your activity screen, so you never have to open anything during your ride or run. - At the planned minute your Garmin plays the DataFuel chime, vibrates and shows what to take: gel, bar, bottle or electrolytes. It repeats every minute until you confirm, for up to 4 minutes. - Confirm with the LAP button (on a touchscreen Edge you can also tap the red bar). - Always see your next intake and the minutes until it. - On a full screen of an Edge or a larger watch: a live estimate of how full your carbohydrate tank is. - One plan per activity: a second ride or run on the same day gets your next planned session. Requires a DataFuel account and the DataFuel app on your phone. Link your Garmin in the app under "Your Garmin"; the app sends today's plan to the field. Add the field to a data screen of your ride or run profile — the app shows you how. Tip: turn off Auto Lap, otherwise every automatic lap counts as taken.
