EDGE Part A and B are data fields for 3B or 4B layouts. The purpose of these data fields is that additionally one or 2 original Garmin data fields (or other IQ data fields) can be set. This guidance describes both data fields together: http://mcinner.at/files/GuideEdgePartA&B_E.pdf They form a unit, although they must be loaded individually from the store and must also be placed individually in the correct field. I used this data field on my former Edge 1030+ for my e-mountain bike and use Jan Capek‘s IQ datafield Ebike Field in the upper field. Now I‘m using my own ebike datafield https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/365c91c9-4b97-44ec-8832-69738356c4a2 I have to admit, the screen is a bit overloaded on the Edge 530 and 830. But maybe you will like it after all.

I have therefore secured the setup entries so that no incorrect entries are accepted. ----------------------- 1.6.0 switched to new SDK 6.3.0 new feature: if radar is connected you can show the (real) speed of the first target vehicle. Chose in setup: 0…don't show, 1…show in TE field, 2…show big overlay If radar is connected, and showmode is set to 1 or 2 there appears a small orange dot at the place where the speed value will appear (upon TE or under bike speed). Without dot - no vehicle speed will be shown. ----------------------- 1.5.7 on user request: elevation/altitude can now be selected instead of TE field ----------------------- 1.5.5 + 1.5.6 (seems there was an upload problem with 1.5.5...) new features: VAM 30s by tapping TE field - on touchscreens only (not Edge 830) chose kcal or elevation in setup (on touchscreen toggle by tap) ----------------------- 1.5.3 just some tiny improvements... ----------------------- 1.5.1 just some tiny improvements... -----------------------
