A data field for the Fjällräven Classic Sweden trek, about 110 km from Nikkaluokta to Abisko along Kungsleden. Add it to a data screen in your hiking activity and it tells you how far it is to the next checkpoint and when you'll get there. On the screen: • Distance and name of the next checkpoint, like "12.0 km TO Sälka". • Arrival time. Worked out from your pace over the last 10 km, with 10 minutes added for each food stop you pass on the way there. It doesn't know when you'll pitch your tent, so trust it for the next checkpoint on the same day, not for the finish three days out. • Metres of climbing ahead. You can turn this off. It comes from smoothed elevation data, about 1100 m for the whole trail. • With the field alone on a screen you also get the trail outline, a dot for you and the finished part greyed out. Progress is GPS based. Your position is matched to the trail line, so it still knows where you are if you save the activity each evening and start a new one in the morning. If you're more than 1 km from the line it uses the activity distance, and that starts again from zero with every new activity. Trek: Fjällräven Classic Sweden, Nikkaluokta to Abisko Mountain Lodge, with the trail line, the Lap Dånalds reindeer-burger stop (about km 5) and the five staffed checkpoints where you stamp your Trekking Passport: Singi (km 31), Sälka (km 43, food and gas refill), Tjäktja (km 58), Alesjaure (km 68, food and gas refill) and Kieron (km 87). There are no checkpoint cut-offs. The km are the organiser's rounded stage lengths, so the trail line runs a little shorter (107.5 km). The 2027 dates aren't out yet (2026 ran 6 to 14 August), so Auto mode can't find the trek by date: choose it once in the field settings in the Connect IQ app. Small watches show numbers and text only. A data field there gets 32 KB of memory. The trail line doesn't fit in that, so these watches go by activity distance and leave out the outline and the climb. Text-only models: Instinct 2, 3 and E. Forerunner 55, 245, 645 and 935. fēnix 5 and 6 (not Pro). Venu and Venu Sq. vívoactive 3 and 4. Edge 130. Plus a few older ones. Privacy: the position comes from your activity and stays on the device. It needs no extra permissions and sends nothing.
