OsMo Tracker is a Connect IQ data field for Traceya (esya.ru). Add it to a Garmin activity page: live sensor status on screen, extra .FIT series after the ride, and optional live tracking to Traceya in Online mode. Modes • Offline (default) — nothing is uploaded; FIT series are still written while recording for later upload to esya. Screen shows “offline”. • Online — enable the checkbox in Connect settings. The field obtains a guest token itself; see the bind code in field settings and enter it at https://esya.ru/pair (requires version ≥2.4.0). Points go to https://esya.ru/osmo. Docs and API: https://esya.ru/osmo (also in the About group). Works on Edge, watches (fēnix, Forerunner, Venu, and more), and handhelds with Connect IQ 3.1+. Sent to Traceya (online) • coordinates, elevation, speed, heading, GPS accuracy; • temperature (device sensor or Garmin Tempe), barometric pressure, battery. On screen • before start: “start” (once after app load, field version in small type); offline shows “offline”, Online without a session shows “online”; • paused: “paused” large, send count small (offline: “offline” small); • recording (online): large successful-send counter (color shifts every 3600 OK points); • if GPS quality is below 4: GPS status large instead of the counter, send count small (like pause): — 3: GPS degraded; — 2: GPS may be jammed; — 1 or 0: no GPS data; • sensor temperature; when Garmin weather is available — sensor minus weather delta in parentheses (e.g. +15° wx = sensor warmer than forecast); • pressure with elevation in parentheses; • speed and Garmin weather wind: — ground speed 8 km/h or higher with heading: head / head-cross / cross / cross-tail / tail + m/s; — before start, no heading, or speed below 8 km/h: compass (N/SW… on watches; longer labels on navigators) + m/s; — forecast wind under 0.5 m/s: “calm” with no direction; • live viewers (online); • connection / token errors as text. Round displays use a compact centered layout with chord-aware width. After the ride (FIT) • esya_tx_fail — failed sends (online only); • esya_ambient_pressure — pressure, hPa; • esya_device_battery — battery, %; • esya_gps_quality — GPS quality 0–4; • esya_viewers — viewers; • esya_temp_c — sensor temperature, °C; • esya_weather_temp_delta_c — sensor minus Garmin weather, °C; T_weather = esya_temp_c minus delta; • esya_wind_type — wind type from −2 to 2 (head → tail; relative mode only); • esya_wind_speed — wind speed, m/s. Connect IQ settings • “Online mode” (off by default); • on-device field settings — bind code for esya.ru/pair (Online only); • “Send points while paused” (on by default, Online only, full packet every 60 s); • “About” — copyright and esya.ru/osmo (view only). After a run of HTTP 401/403 while Online is on, the field quietly obtains a new guest token. Getting started 1. Install the field and add it to an activity page. 2. For live tracking, enable Online mode, open field settings, and enter the code at esya.ru/pair. 3. Keep a phone with Garmin Connect nearby. 4. Start the activity. Without Online — FIT only. A Traceya account is required for online tracking. This field does not replace Garmin’s own recording. Permissions: communications, GPS, sensors and background temperature sampling, FitContributor.
