설명

“Welcome to Space Ship Earth. This is your personal Celestial Chronometer -- your navigation companion during your orbital stay at Sun Station G2V.” Transform your watch into a 24/7 personal astro computer. This watch face uses your GPS location and local time for live calculations of visible celestial events. Enjoy the ecliptic dance of the sun, moon, stars & planets & appreciate natural phenomena like seasons, analemmas, eclipses & tides. Reflect on our place in a solar system that’s forever in motion. Learn celestial navigation using the sky -- day or night. COMPLICATIONS: - 3 hands: hour + minute hands (mean solar time) & sidereal hand (star time) - 2 optional hands for apparent solar time & lunar day time (can be used to predict high/low tides) - Daytime mode: sun chart + sun position for your latitude, with analemmas showing the Equation of Time - Nighttime mode: circumpolar constellations & correct orientation - The 4 classic “wandering stars”: Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn - Moon position + phase - Align celestial bodies shown on watch face to find North - 3 data fields (HR, date, next sun event, digital time, notification count) - 4 data triangles (battery, body battery, daily steps, daily floors, stress level, move bar) - 5 alternate time zones DESIGN - We have circle watches. We use the circle to tell time. But what else can we draw in a circle? - In my previous watchface (2pi Pulse Halo) we looked inward to the Heart. We explored how a personal metric like HR sketches patterns throughout our repeating days. - This time, we look to the stars. By doing so, we retrace the footsteps of our ancestors -- explorers, scientists, mathematicians & philosophers who also gazed at the heavens & wondered about our place in the universe. We also re-discover the origins of the time & date systems we use today. - Incidentally, our Earth is round. Because of that, astronomy phenomena we observe from Earth can be displayed as a polar chart on our round watches. This watch face squeezes almost every useful astronomy complication possible into a cool battery-friendly watch face. - In addition to astronomy complications, the watch face displays our usual Garmin data on the bezel’s edge. Curved text data fields (date, sun event, heart rate) & orbiting data triangles (daily steps %, battery %, body battery %) keep info on the perimeter & avoid cluttering the main display. - Supercar designer Frank Stephenson says wheels should have an odd number of spokes for the feeling of movement. And so, the watch face layout features odd-numbered elements (e.g. 3 data fields, 3 hands). - The hands are dynamically z-clipped to simulate depth & stacking. This produces a clean look with no intersecting lines when hands pass over each other. Yet, they're transparent so complications underneath remain visible. - The text & hands are angular to contrast the curves of the sky. - Continuing the design philosophy from my last watch face: “digital watch faces shouldn't copy physical watch faces”. We can do anything in the digital world, so let’s explore designs impossible on a physical watch! - There are many sun deities in history, but this watch face is named after the Japanese sun goddess Amaterasu. In the mythology, she banishes the moon god, forever separating day & night. Since then, the moon chases the sun but can never quite catch her. TECHNICAL - The astronomy calculations use your latest GPS location. On your first use, make sure you have a fresh GPS lock (e.g., by holding the GPS button or starting a GPS activity). Your latest location is cached & used whenever no live location is available. - anti-burn-in is auto-enabled for AMOLED devices. In AOD mode, a checkerboard overlay is applied to reduce active pixels to 10% and ensure no pixel is on for 3 minutes. - Whenever possible, screen elements are redrawn independently (only when there's change) and cached as a BufferedBitmap to save CPU cycles/power.

새로운 기능

The free version is fully functional and supports all the features forever. But the free version will be monochrome. If you’d like to customize the colors (or show me your appreciation), please send $37 to https://paypal.me/secretsciencelab and contact me for an unlock code (click Contact Developer or email me at aaron@secretsciencelab.com). My original idea was to list this as the most expensive app in the CIQ store, because I secretly hope no one will buy it and I can enjoy having a one-of-a-kind design. But my daughter frowned at me and said “DAAAaaaaaad.....!” and persuaded me to lower the price and make it available to everyone. So I want to try something different. I shall start the price at $1, but each time someone buys this watch face at the current price, I will increase the price by $1. This is to reward early supporters, and to give owners a feeling of exclusivity. The current price is $37. You'll get lifetime access and I'll send you a new unlock code if you change watches. ⭐️P.S. If you write something in your review that makes my 13-year-old daughter smile or laugh (especially if it's a bad dad joke), I'll let you name your own price. 1.8.10 - Updated to SDK 8.4.1 & added D2Mach2. 1.8.8 - Added Venu 4 & Fenix 8 pro. 1.8.7 - Added Forerunner 570 & 970. 1.8.4 - Added Vivoactive 6, Descent G2 and Approach S50 & rebuilt with latest SDK. 1.8.3 - Added Instinct 3 AMOLED & rebuilt with latest SDK version. 1.8.2 - Added more hand width & hand line thickness options -- for fans of chunkier/thicker/juicier hands. 1.8.1 - Added option to show constellations in the daytime (instead of sun chart). 1.8.0 - Added "spectral" color theme. Added data field option for daily calories and daily active minutes. 1.7.2 - Added option to change the line thickness of the hour, minute and sidereal hands. 1.7.1 - Added Enduro 3, Fenix E and Fenix 8. 1.6.11 - Added Daily Distance and Daily Steps text data field options. 1.6.8 - Fixed Garmin bug that returns bad GPS location. 1.6.7 - Fixed color quality of sun chart themes. Added new theme "Ocean". 1.6.5 - Added option to change the sun chart's color theme (or hide it). 1.6.2 - Fixed constellation orientation at different longitudes. 1.6.0 - New feature: add edge markers to track up to 5 alternate time zones. 1.5.29 - Added option to change the color of constellation lines. 1.5.26 - Improved battery savings when sidereal hand is disabled. 1.5.22 - Added Altitude data field option. 1.5.19 - Added option to manually set your Latitude and Longitude. 1.5.16 - Added option to customize the sidereal hand width independently. 1.5.14 - Added option to customize the width of the hands. 1.5.8 - 1.5.13 - Super memory & power optimizations. Added more supported devices since the memory/power requirement is now much lower. 1.5.0 - Dynamic and more accurate moon phase rendering relative to your position. Added settings for angular/round minute hand style and battery optimizations. 1.2.3 - Toned down the daytime sun chart so it falls to the background. This makes foreground elements appear to float higher on the face and pop more. Also changed the color theme of the analemmas to mimic bio-luminescence. 1.2.0 - New origami ghost hand design. I always felt something was off with the previous hand design... the hands looked okay when they were apart but there was clutter when their lines intersected. I also didn’t like the “bowtie” shape the hands made when they line up across the face. This new design gives an illusion of stacking and depth when hands overlap. But, there are no intersecting lines, eliminating visual clutter. Meanwhile, the hands remain transparent so complications underneath stay visible.
