We are migrating our apps to the new Garmin Pay process. All customers, who purchased this app in the past, will receive updates for their now called "LEGACY" version for the foreseeable future. All new customers please check out this version: https://apps.garmin.com/apps/4d912002-f6ad-44bd-8462-e299019cfb5b Both versions are functionally identical. ---- AlcoTracker helps you to analyze your drinking habits, to set goals and to live more healthy. Entering drinks is easy. All information is presented as easily readable diagrams grouped by day, week, month and year. In the app settings two goals are defined: The amount of alcohol consumed per day (in g/d) and the number of days without drinking alcohol in 4 weeks. As a guideline, the WHO suggests no more than 24g as a daily average for male and 12g for female. Gender and weight are retrieved from your fitness profile to calculate actual blood alcohol levels. A set of 7 drinks are pre-defined that can be easily customized in the settings. Each drink entry consists of a title (anything you like), the size in milliliters (1 US fl.oz = 29.57 ml) and the alcohol content in Vol.%. Enter a drink: Press the "Start" button on your watch to bring up a menu to chose a drink from. You can delete the last drink consumed, but only during the "AlcoTracker-day" it was entered. For AlcoTracker, the "day" ends at 6:00 o'clock the next morning. So all drinks consumed after midnight until 6 am count on the previous calendar day. 24 hour view: The blood alcohol concentration is presented in a 24 hour diagram (orange line), centered around the current time. Please choose the appropriate unit in the app's settings: permille (‰) or percent (%). The legal limit to drive a car (to be configured in settings) is drawn in red. All drinks consumed within the last 24h are taken into consideration for the calculation and are shown as a list (time, amount) on the bottom of the screen. 7 days view: The daily consumption of the last 7 days is presented as a bar chart. Green dots represent a day without alcohol. The specified goal is drawn as a red line. In addition, the weekly average is given in the title. A progress circle shows the weekly average versus the goal, which is always centered at the bottom (small thick white line). 28 days view: Same information as in 7 day view, but comprising 4 weeks of data. 12 months views: The first yearly view shows the monthly consumption of the last 12 months as a bar chart. The specified goal is drawn as a red line. In addition, the monthly average is given in the title. A progress circle shows the monthly average versus the goal, which is always centered at the bottom. The second view presents the number of days without alcohol per month, again the goal is displayed in the chart and visualized in the progress circle. BACKUP: You need to backup your data manually. We recommend once per week and prior to migrating to a new watch. Open the AlcoTracker settings using Connect IQ on your phone. Long-click on the "Backup" text to select it in full and copy it to the clipboard. Paste the text into an email, that you send to yourself. Keep that email for future restores. RESTORE: It is important to follow all steps 100% as described. Especially, you can't restore to AlcoTracker, if it was already used on the watch. You need a fresh installation of AlcoTracker to restore. If AlcoTracker is already on your watch, delete it at first. Then install again, but DO NOT open the app on the watch. Find the appropriate Backup string (email?) and select the full string and copy it to the clipboard. Open the AlcoTracker settings using Connect IQ on your phone. Paste the Backup string to the corresponding field in the settings. Save settings and exit. Now open AlcoTracker on the watch. Disclaimer: Drink smart. Don’t drive and drink. Use at your own risk. The calculated alcohol level might differ from your true blood alcohol level.
