FASTING MODES (evidence-based): • Gentle TRF (14:10) — beginner-friendly time-restricted eating • Standard TRF (16:8) — the most studied schedule • Adaptive Fasting (Circadian) — aligns eating window to daylight with 10–12h constraints (available on newer watch models) • Custom TRF — choose your own fasting goal CORE FEATURES: • Real-time timer with color-coded progress arc • Multiple views: Base, Details, Statistics, History (last 7 plotted) • Streaks, averages, totals, and personal records • Background milestone notifications (can be disabled) • Manual location fallback if GPS/location is unavailable (only needed for adaptive circadian mode) ADAPTIVE FASTING (CIRCADIAN): Automatically calculates a daily eating window based on sunrise/sunset for your location, with evidence-based constraints (10–12h eating window centered on solar noon) to stay practical year-round. DATA EXPORT (GDPR / privacy-first): • Export your fasting history as a CSV via a secure link + QR code • No account required; links expire automatically PRIVACY: • Fasting data stored locally on-device • No analytics, no tracking, no cloud sync • Location is used only to compute sunrise/sunset (not exported)

Release Notes - Intermittent Fasting Connect IQ Widget IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you contact the developer with an issue, suggestion or bug, make sure you leave a contact email, otherwise it is not possible to get back to you with feedback on your topic. 1.40.0 - INSTINCT 3 / INSTINCT E LAYOUT — IMPROVED: Every screen on Instinct 3 and Instinct E is now laid out around the small round sub-display — nothing is hidden under it any more (main view, details, stats, history, log, summary, start fast and the glance) — FIX: Overtime colours are now visible on black-and-white screens — FIX: Rare crash when pressing a button right as the widget opens — FIX: Small translation fixes (German, Russian, Portuguese) 1.39.0 - EXPORT FIXED ON INSTINCT 3 / INSTINCT E — FIX: Export was unusable on Instinct 3 and Instinct E — the QR code overlapped the small round sub-display, so it could not be scanned at all. It is now placed clear of it and drawn larger — NEW: Download link shown as text on any device — press DOWN or swipe on the export screen to type the address instead of scanning — IMPROVED: Larger QR code, thanks to a much shorter download link 1.38.1 - FENIX 9 PRO 51MM — NEW: Support for fenix 9 Pro 51mm (also sold as fenix 9 Pro - inReach, 51mm), which was missing from the 1.38.0 device list 1.38.0 - FENIX 9 SUPPORT + 12 MORE WATCHES — FIX: Messages cut off at the screen edges on larger watches (epix 2, fenix 8/9, Edge 1050 and others) — text now shrinks to fit — FIX: Missing text across the app — menu titles, the glance header, the stop-fast confirmation and the edit-time error messages were all showing blank. Present since January — NEW: Support for fenix 9 (43mm/47mm), fenix 9 Pro (43mm/47mm) and fenix 9 Pro Solar (47mm/51mm) — NEW: Support for D2 Mach 2 and Mach 2 Pro, Forerunner 170 / 170 Music / 70, Approach S50, and Instinct Crossover AMOLED — NOTE: Venu (Daimler edition) had to be dropped — Garmin removed it from the Connect IQ device list 1.37.0 - STREAK FIX + ENDURO 3 SUPPORT — FIX: Streak counter now saves correctly after each completed fast — was recalculating from fasting log on every app launch and showing 1 if any sub-threshold log entry existed (all high-memory devices, since v1.0) — FIX: Enduro 3: buttons and touch input now work correctly — device was missing from the build routing config, causing START to use the wrong input path 1.36.3 - STORAGE SANITY CHECK — FIX: Widget now detects and clears corrupted fast data that could show implausibly long fasting durations (e.g. 8507 hours) — caused by a pre-existing ghost fast epoch in storage from before v1.36.2 1.36.2 - GHOST FAST HOTFIX (COMPLETE FIX) — FIX: Stopped fast could reappear in glance and widget — glance process was writing stale fast data back to storage on every exit; stopped fast now stays stopped (all devices) — FIX: Background notification scheduling after stop now always reads authoritative storage instead of a stale in-memory value, preventing spurious fasting-progress wake events (all devices) — FIX: Stop timer garbage-collection — timer now held in a module-level variable until callback fires (all devices) — FIX: Instinct 3 / Instinct E: brief view flash before summary screen after confirming stop now prevented 1.36.0 - INSTINCT 3 / INSTINCT E FIXES — FIX: UP, DOWN, and ENTER buttons now work on Instinct 3 Solar, Instinct 3 AMOLED (45mm/50mm), and Instinct E (40mm/45mm) — buttons were silently unresponsive due to a CIQ behavioral callback routing difference on these devices 1.35.0 - FR735XT COMPATIBILITY FIXES — FIX: UP and DOWN buttons now cycle views instead of exiting the widget (FR735XT and other CIQ 2.x devices) — FIX: ENTER button now cycles views as expected (FR735XT) — FIX: Editing fast start or end time no longer crashes on FR735XT — FIX: "Days since last fast" no longer shows 56 years when no prior fast exists (FR55, FR735XT, vivoactive 3, other low-memory devices) Older versions: see the full changelog in the project repository.
