=====PREFACE===== Would like to thanks 69smir for ideas, suggestions, for pushing me to make this widget and for beta-testing. . Widget provided for informational purpose it should not be used as primer astronomical of astra-navigational tool. . It is strongly recommended to read carefully description for this widget. Please pay attention, if during selection of custom date or PSN, widget throes you to previous menu, means, that your device does not support entering data in widget. . =====DESCRIPTION===== It is important before first start of widget, to obtain your GPS position. Easiest way - synchronize time of your device with GPS (Menu – Settings – System – Time – Sync with GPS). If you steell see "No GPS", go to widget menu and click "Get PSN". Only in this case and only after try to get psn normaly. . There are three kind of view you may choose: - Basic data for Sun and Moon; - Extended data for Sun - Extended data for Moon - Rise/Set data slider for Sun, Moon and Moon phase (data will be shown to Noon of selected date) . Following data provided: =-Sun-= - Current moment angle position: Azimuth (Az) and Altitude (Al); - Current moment Declination (Dec) and Right Ascension (rA); - Time of Nadir and Astronomical Noon; - Time of Sunrise and Sunset (same available in Basic Screen); - Days countdown to closest ecliptically point: ----- winter and summer solstice ----- spring and autumn equinox - Twilight time (Twil.). Can be chosen from following (same available in Basic Screen): ----- night end / start ----- nautical dawn / dusk ----- civilian dawn / dusk ----- blue hour end / start ----- sunrise end / start ----- golden hour - Duration of daylight (D..h..m) (same available in Basic Screen) For areas with “White nights” (when twilight goes all night long), during white night sufficient notification will be shown. For areas with Polar day/night, sufficient notification will be shown. Sunrise/Sunset will show date and time of last and next event. Daylight duration will be replaced by days, hours, and minutes remain from current moment to the end of Polar day/night. =-Moon-= - Current moment angle position: Azimuth (Az) and Altitude (Al); - Current moment Declination (Dec) and Right Ascension (rA); - Current moment moon phase (Ph) in percent. 0% or 100% - new moon, 50% - full mon. Calculations based on relative positions of Moon, Sun and Earth; - Current moment moon’s illuminated fraction (Fr) in percent; - Time of Moonrise and Moonset (same available in Basic Screen); - Countdown days to closest moon quarter; - Graphical icon of current moon phase (same available in Basic Screen); - Current Lunar day (available in Basic Screen). Calculated based on current moon phase (Ph) and Synodic Lunar Month based on 29.53058812 days. Calculation goes from new moon; . Results of calculation by default taken from your current location and for current time. But other location and time can be selected in widget menu. Be careful while entering custom PSN and date. Make it strict as in example. PSN should be entered with minus for south and west. Maximum accuracy – six digits after dot. Use dot as separator. Coma will not be recognized. To enter custom date use format: hhmm ddmmyyyy . In widget menu you can switch between custom and current data. If custom data selected letter “d” will be displayed, for custom position – letter “p”. . To access widget menu, click “Start” or “Select” button, depends from your device. . !!! Important !!! Due to memory limitation, for some devices, can appear malfunctions, during calculations of rise/set time for polar day/night if it goes through the months. Ver 1.3.3 Fixed GPS PSN readings. After firmware update on some devices, widget lost possibility to update GPS PSN.
