This data field displays your heart rate and average or maximum heart rate. You can change the option settings to display the heart rate zone in the bottom bar. (By default, heart rate zones are loaded from Garmin's user profile; you can also set heart rate zones manually.) You can change the settings through Garmin Express or the Garmin Connect IQ app.
