Meridia is a world clock that gets daylight saving time right. It carries its own rule set for nearly 200 cities — Europe, North America, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Egypt and the zones that never change, including half-hour and 45-minute offsets — so the time is correct today, next week and next year, even when two countries switch on different dates. The home screen lists your home city and up to six favourites with their time and whether they are at work, asleep or free. Swipe for each city with a day-and-night bar, the call-window planner that finds when everyone is in office hours today or tomorrow, and the list of upcoming clock changes that shift the gap between you and them. A converter answers "15:00 for them is what for me?" in a few presses.
