Oneira stays open on your wrist through the night and estimates when you are likely in REM sleep, from your heart rate, how irregular it is and how still you lie, weighed against the 90-minute sleep cycle. From the second half of the night it sends a soft vibration pattern when REM looks likely for a few minutes in a row, so the cue can reach you inside a dream without waking you. During the day you practise reality checks with the very same pattern, so that at night it means one thing: am I dreaming? Each morning you log what you remember in two taps. Oneira learns from it: if a cue woke you, it goes one step softer; if you never noticed it, one step stronger. It stops for the night after three wake-ups. Your journal shows lucid dreams, how often you remember a dream, your streak and today's reality checks, and the last night page shows the REM estimate, the cue moments and how much battery the night used.
