Master Military LANDNAV by Mastering your 100-Meter Pacecount! Completely free! 1. Load this datafield into one of your activity screens (for instructions see https://support.garmin.com/?faq=gyywAozBuAAGlvfzvR9VZ8 2. Once you begin the activity and GPS signal is good, the datafield will indicate how many meters you have traveled. 3. Each time you pass 100m it will alert you (with a beep, a vibration, or no notification). Some devices do not support sounds/vibration. 4. To change the notification type press START/STOP twice within three seconds, or adjust the app settings in Garmin connect app. The notification setting is indicated at the left of the datafield. 5. The icon on the right indicates GPS satellite strength. This datafield uses the internal 'distance traveled' value as measured by your Garmin device. It is meant for outside use, and should work AS ACCURATE AS YOUR GARMIN DEVICE at measuring distance traveled. It is worth noting that GPS technology itself is susceptible to minor inaccuracies depending upon terrain and signal strength. You can expect more accuracy in open areas, and less accuracy in areas with more obstacles present (i.e., dense urban/jungle area, steep hills etc).
