Descrição

Karvonen is a heart rate data field for every sport. Your current zone fills the field in the same colours as Garmin Connect (Z1 grey, Z2 blue, Z3 green, Z4 orange, Z5 red), with the zone as a decimal (Z2.7) and your heart rate as % of max or % of heart rate reserve. Bars show how long you have spent in each zone, and a zone goal counts down ("Z2 12:30") and vibrates when you reach it. The effort score is open about how it is calculated. Banister TRIMP adds up, for every minute, x · 0.64 · e^(1.92 · x) (0.86 · e^(1.67 · x) for women), where x is your heart rate reserve fraction (HR − rest) / (max − rest). Edwards TRIMP simply multiplies the minutes in each zone by the zone number. Aerobic drift compares your pace (or power) per heartbeat in the first and second half of the session after a 5-minute warm-up: under 5 % means your aerobic engine held steady. WHAT IT DOES - Current zone as a big colour, heart rate, zone with one decimal and %HRmax or %HRR (Karvonen) - Time-in-zone bars for Z1 to Z5, with minutes in the full-screen view - Zone goal (for example 30 min in Z2) with a countdown, vibration, beep and full-screen alert when done - Optional alert when you stay above a chosen zone for 20 seconds, with a 2-minute cooldown - Live effort score: Banister TRIMP or Edwards TRIMP, formula explained above - Aerobic drift (Pa:HR decoupling) from speed or, when a power meter is connected, power - Clock and elapsed time (h:mm:ss) in the full-screen view - Adapts to every field size, from one number to a full dashboard; colours follow the screen or are set to dark, light or high contrast for bright sun - Effort, HR zone, lap effort and aerobic drift are saved to the activity and shown as charts in Garmin Connect WHAT IT NEEDS - A heart rate sensor (wrist or strap); zones, max and resting heart rate are read from your Garmin profile and can be overridden in the settings - How to add: start an activity, open Settings / Data Screens, pick a screen, select a field and choose Connect IQ / Karvonen. Then press BACK until you see the activity screen and scroll to that page. Until the activity has data it shows dashes (--). - The numbers are training estimates, not a medical measurement

Novidades

Aerobic drift now reliably appears after about 25 minutes, also when power or pace arrives late; without pace or power the field shows -- instead of a countdown.
