Descrição
Matchbook is a cycling data field that shows how much of your anaerobic reserve (W') is left, second by second, from your power meter. Every hard effort above your critical power burns a match; Matchbook counts the matches you have burnt and shows how many are still in the box, how long you can hold your current power before the tank is empty, and how long it takes to refill when you ease off. It fits every field size: a single number in a small slot, a W' bar with matches and NP in half a screen, and a full dashboard with the W' graph of the whole ride, NP, IF, TSS, your best 5 s, 1, 5 and 20 minute power, and a suggested new CP after hard rides. W' balance is saved in the FIT file as a chart in Garmin Connect, together with NP, TSS and matches per lap and per ride. WHAT IT DOES - W' balance in percent and kJ, using the differential model (Skiba/Clarke) - Matches: efforts above CP that cost at least 10 % of W', counted and shown as the matches left in the box - Time to empty at your current power, and time until W' is back to 95 % - Normalized Power, IF, TSS, VI and kJ - Best 5 s, 1 min, 5 min and 20 min power, live - CP and W' estimate from your best 3 and 12 minutes (two-parameter model) - Vibration, tone and pop-up when W' drops below 25 % and when it is empty, with a cool-down - W' balance chart, NP, TSS and matches saved to the FIT file - Light and dark backgrounds, five languages WHAT IT NEEDS - A power meter (without one the field shows "No power") - Your CP and W' in the settings of the Connect IQ app; CP 0 uses the FTP from your Garmin profile where the watch provides it, otherwise 250 W - How to add: start a ride, open Settings / Data Screens, pick a screen and a field, then choose Connect IQ / Matchbook. Then press BACK until you see the activity screen and scroll to that page. Until the activity has data it shows dashes (--).
