Simple Garmin Weather WF is a compact watch face designed for mainstream Garmin round MIP and AMOLED displays. It keeps the main time highly readable while grouping daily status and weather information into clear regions. Main features: - Large HHMM time with readable small seconds. - Connection status above HHMM when Bluetooth or Garmin data connectivity is available. - Subtle seven-day intensity-minutes trend bars behind the main time. - Date and weather location. - Battery percentage. - Sunrise and sunset time. - Recovery time and weather pressure. - Daily intensity minutes compared with the recent seven-day average. - Steps versus daily goal with a compact progress bar. - Move bar level with compact segments. - Current heart rate and seven-day average resting heart rate. - Heart rate coloring based on user HR zones when available. - Weather condition, current temperature, feels-like temperature, high/low temperature, precipitation chance, Beaufort wind level, wind direction, and UV index. - Offline weather fallback based on Garmin cached current weather, hourly forecast, and daily forecast. - Muted semantic colors tuned for Garmin watch displays. - Default CLI Compact appearance with optional Classic mode. - Optional CLI header name. - Scaled layout for mainstream round Garmin screens. Weather notes: - Weather data depends on Garmin weather availability and Garmin Connect/device data connectivity. - Current and hourly weather can be reused for up to 24 hours after the last successful update. - Daily forecast can be reused for up to 7 days after the last successful update. - UV is available from current and hourly weather only; daily forecast fallback shows UV as unavailable. - Weather data older than 24 hours is visually marked as stale. - When Garmin Connect or device data connectivity is restored, the watch face immediately attempts one weather and forecast refresh instead of waiting for the regular weather interval. - AQI is not shown because it is not provided by the Connect IQ weather API; UV index is shown instead when Garmin Weather provides it. Known limitations: - The watch face currently supports mainstream round Garmin MIP and AMOLED screen families. Instinct semioctagon screens, Instinct 3 AMOLED devices below this app's API level, and very small 218/208 round screens are not included in this release. - Historical sleep session start/end and last-night resting heart rate are not exposed by the public SDK used here. - Training load from Garmin Training Status is not exposed by the public SDK used here, so the watch face uses intensity minutes instead.
