Just Minimal IQ — Analog Watch Face A clean, fully customizable analog watch face with translucent hour and minute rays, 6 data fields (2 middle + 4 corner), 4 round progress bars, and weather integration via OpenWeatherMap. Designed for AMOLED and MIP displays with Always-On Display (AOD) support and burn-in protection. FEATURES • Analog Time — Hour and minute displayed as translucent rays extending from center to tip circles with numeric values. Seconds shown as a number in the center circle. Customizable dial marks at every minute and 5-minute interval, with rounded rectangles at 12, 3, 6, and 9. • 6 Data Fields — 2 middle fields (left + right of center) and 4 corner fields (top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right). Each supports: Heart Rate, Steps, Floors, Distance, Calories, Active Calories, Active Minutes (daily/weekly), Battery, UV Index, Humidity, Wind Speed (m/s, km/h, mph, knots + BFT), Sunrise/Sunset, Next Sun Event, SPo2, Altitude, Pressure (mmHg/Millibars/Inches), Body Battery, Stress Level, VO2 Max (Run/Cycle), Recovery Time, Respiration, Week Number, Secondary Time Zone, Temperature, Location, Air Quality, UV+AQI combo, Battery+Solar combo, Solar Intensity, Notifications, Date, Day of Week. Middle fields additionally support: Weather (OpenWeatherMap) with icon display. • 4 Round Progress Bars (Left Up, Right Up, Left Down, Right Down) — Each supports: Battery, Steps, Floors, Calories, Active Minutes, Solar Intensity, Body Battery, Stress Level, Humidity, HR Zones, UV Zones, SPo2 Zones, Sun Bar, Bluetooth, Move Bar. Each bar has customizable fill and empty colors. • AOD — Low-power always-on mode with burn-in protection. Shows analog time, and optionally date and weekday in the middle fields. OPENWEATHERMAP SETUP This watch face uses OpenWeather's One Call API 3.0 ("One Call by Call" plan) for extended data (UV, Humidity, Wind, Air Quality, Temperature). Important: OpenWeather requires a payment card when subscribing, BUT you will NOT be charged as long as you stay within the free tier of 1,000 calls/day — more than enough at any update interval. To be safe, set a daily call limit in your OpenWeather account. 1. Create a free account at https://openweathermap.org 2. Subscribe to "One Call by Call" at https://openweathermap.org/price 3. Recommended: set "Calls per day (no more than)" to 1,000 in Billing plans. 4. Copy your API key (may take a couple of hours to activate). 5. In the Garmin Connect IQ app, open watch face settings. 6. Paste the key into "Your OpenWeatherMap API Key". 7. Set update interval (10, 15, 20, 30, 45, or 60 min). GPS COORDINATES Weather data, Sun Events, and Sun Bar require GPS coordinates. The watch obtains them automatically from your phone via Garmin Weather or from an active GPS activity. If unavailable, open any GPS activity (e.g., Walk), wait for GPS lock, then stop it. The watch face saves and reuses the last known position. COLORS All colors customizable via hex codes (e.g., FF0000 = red). Customize: Background, Foreground, Hours, Minutes, Seconds, Rays, Icons, Dial Marks (minute ticks + 5-min ticks), and all 4 Progress Bars (fill + empty). Gradient background available on OLED displays. Tip: use black (000000) on AMOLED to save battery. SECONDARY TIME ZONE UTC -12 to UTC +12 with optional +30 min shift for half-hour zones (e.g., India UTC+5:30).
