Is the light on, and how long until it changes? Light Hours shows IN or OUT and the countdown to the next edge: today's light, by the rule you pick. Nothing is locked: no trial, no unlock code, nothing to buy on the watch. No extra phone app, no account. For anyone who plans around first and last light: hunters, photographers and more. The rule You choose where the light starts and ends, in the app's menu: - Civil twilight (sun 6° below the horizon), the default - 0 min: sunrise to sunset - 15, 30, 45 or 60 min: that long before sunrise and after sunset ("pre-rise, post-set") Light Hours does not know the rules where you are. It counts by the rule you pick, so check any local rules yourself. The screen IN or OUT, the time left until the light starts or ends in large digits, and the window it points to, start and end. Times are whole minutes, never outside the window. Far north or south, on days when the light never ends or never starts, it says so in words: "No end today", "No start today", "No start tomorrow". In your glance list On watches with a glance list, IN or OUT and the edge time, like "Until 17:42", sit in the glance list, so a scroll shows them without opening anything. On a watch with no glance list, the app opens straight to the main screen. Accent colour On colour screens the countdown takes an accent colour, chosen in the app's menu. If this app works for you, a rating in the store helps other people find it. Location and privacy Light Hours uses your watch's location to work out sunrise, sunset and twilight. The place is rounded to a tenth of a degree and stays on your watch. Press START to ask the watch for a new position; a place older than a week is marked "Old place". No account, no analytics, no ads, and the app itself uses no internet. Novidades
Light Hours now also runs on Forerunner 55, Descent G1, Instinct 2S, Venu Sq 2, Venu Sq 2 Music and Approach S72, and on older watches such as fēnix 5, Forerunner 935 and vivoactive 3, which open straight to the main screen. The glance is tidier on round watches: its rows sit inside the round glass, and an old place no longer gets cut off on a small glance card. When the place is old, the main screen on small round watches now keeps its "Press START" prompt.
