Turn your Garmin watch into a remote control panel for your Raspberry Pi and Linux server. RaspPi-Remote Lite lets you trigger predefined commands, check system status and receive terminal output directly on your wrist — without reaching for your laptop. LITE EDITION The Lite edition provides 7 configurable command slots. It's a practical way to try wrist-based Linux administration before considering a larger command set. HOW IT WORKS The Garmin app connects to a companion API running on your Linux host. The API executes configured actions and returns their output to the watch. Remote access requires a correctly configured endpoint and authentication token. The backend API automatically scans your .bash_aliases and .bashrc. Add an alias on your Pi, and it’s instantly executable from your watch—no JSON editing required. LIVE TERMINAL FEEDBACK The watch parses and displays the actual stdout/stderr returned by your Pi (multiple lines of text). Ideal for checking sensor readings, server loads, or script confirmations. SECURE BY DESIGN Powered by Tailscale in Funnel mode. All requests are authenticated with your custom Security Token and via HTTPS. ZERO-DEPENDENCY BACKEND The server-side API is a lightweight Python Flask application served by a production-ready Waitress server. Running as a reliable systemd service, it is designed to be highly efficient, stable, and won't bloat your system.
