WARNING: The app is intended only as an in-flight aid and should not be used as a primary information source. If the app contains a barometric altimeter, it will not function in a pressurized aircraft and should not be used in a pressurized aircraft. Your next flight on your wrist: report, route, departure, arrival, and how long until you report. WayPoint puts the roster you uploaded at mywpoint.com on your watch. The watch does the counting, so it keeps running in airplane mode. On the watch • Glance: your next flight, the report time and how long until then, in two lines. Walking out of the hotel, you don't have to open anything. • Full view: flight and route, report, departure, arrival and aircraft type. Then the duties that follow: flights, standby, reserve, training, days off. • Times are in the airport's local time, as your roster prints them. A duty that isn't today shows its day: Tomorrow, or the date. • It tells you which roster it's showing and how old the copy is. It isn't live and doesn't pretend to be. • English or Portuguese, following the watch language. With WayPoint Face This app also feeds WayPoint Face, an analog watch face for larger round screens. It's a separate free download from this store, and its page lists the watches it runs on. With both on the same watch, the dial counts down to your report and push, and shows the time at your destination and the TAF for your arrival. Note your hotel wake-up and pickup at mywpoint.com and it counts down to those too. It doesn't ring, so keep your alarm. The face reads everything from this app, so keep both installed. What you need • A free WayPoint account at mywpoint.com, with your roster uploaded there. Nothing is imported from your airline. The watch shows the last roster you uploaded, so if it changes, upload the new one. • Garmin Connect on your phone. The watch reaches WayPoint through it, about every 30 minutes with the phone nearby. There's no separate WayPoint phone app to install. Connecting, once Open WayPoint on the watch and press START. The watch shows a 6-digit code. On your phone, open mywpoint.com/watch (in WayPoint: Settings, Tools, Watch), type the code and tap Connect. You can disconnect whenever you like, on the watch or in that same place in WayPoint. Watches Version 1.2.0 runs on: • fēnix 7, 8, 9 and E, epix (Gen 2), Enduro 2 and 3 • tactix 7 and 8, quatix 7 and 8 • Forerunner 70, 165, 170, 255, 265, 570, 955, 965 and 970 • Venu 2, 3, 4, Sq 2 and X1, vívoactive 5 and 6 • Instinct 3 AMOLED and Crossover AMOLED, MARQ (Gen 2) • D2 Mach, D2 Air X10 and D2 Air X15 • Descent G2 and Mk3, Approach S50 and S70 Other models that already have version 1.0.0 keep it. It works as before, without the watch face. Privacy The watch receives flight numbers, airports, times and aircraft type, plus the wake-up and pickup you noted and the forecast for your arrival. No names, no crew list and no hotel are sent to it. Novidades
On a day without a flight, the weather page now shows METAR now for the airport nearest to you, with its distance. This version asks for your location: it is read only while that page is open, rounded to about 1 km, used to pick the airport, and never stored.
