Axle keeps track of your driving and rest times on your wrist and works out how long you may still drive. Press START when you switch between driving, other work and a break, and Axle applies the EU rules (Regulation 561/2006) or the US FMCSA hours of service to your own log: the 4.5-hour break rule with the 15 + 30 split, the 9 and 10-hour days, reduced and split daily rest, the 24-hour window, 56 hours a week and 90 in two weeks — or the 11-hour, 14-hour, 8-hour break and 60/70-hour rules with the 34-hour restart. The home screen shows the drive time you have left, what is limiting it and the clock time you need to stop. Swipe for the break, the day or shift, the week or cycle, a trip planner that tells you when you will arrive with every required break and rest included, and your last seven days. Axle vibrates before a limit and when a break or rest is complete. It is an aid only: your tachograph or ELD and the law are what count. WHAT IT DOES - Drive time left right now, taken from every rule at once, with the limit that applies and the time to stop - EU: 4.5 h break rule with 15 + 30 split, 9 h day with two 10 h days a week, 11 h daily rest (3 + 9 split or reduced 9 h, max three), 24 h window, 56 h week, 90 h over two weeks, weekly rest due date and reduced weekly rest owed - US: 11 h driving, 14 h window, 30 min break after 8 h driving, 60 h / 7 days or 70 h / 8 days with hours back at midnight and the 34 h restart - Trip planner: enter the driving you still have and see your arrival time with the minimum breaks and rests - Vibration 15 to 60 minutes before a limit, and when your break or rest is done - Correct a switch you logged late, undo the last one, seven-day history - Five languages and a glance with the drive time left WHAT IT NEEDS - Nothing but your button presses: no phone, no account, no internet - Keep using your tachograph or ELD; Axle suggests, it does not replace the official record
