Purlwise is a row counter for knitting and crochet that also knows your pattern. Tap anywhere on the screen or press the start button to count a row, with a short buzz so you never have to look. Tell it how many rows a repeat has and which row carries the cable or the decrease, and the watch buzzes three times when you reach that row. Undo is always one deliberate step away, so a stray tap never costs you a row. It also does the maths knitters usually do on paper. Spread 8 decreases evenly over 50 rows and it tells you "6× every 6 rows, 2× every 7 rows" and marks those rows in your part. It works out cast-on stitches for a width from your swatch, rows for a length, and converts a pattern to your own gauge. It learns your pace from your taps and shows when the part and the project will be done, and after two weighings of your ball it tells you whether your yarn will last.
