Real-time ventilatory threshold zone detection on your Garmin watch. VTCheck monitors your breathing and heart rate during workouts and shows a color-coded zone gauge (green/yellow/red) indicating whether you're below, at, or above your ventilatory thresholds (VT1/VT2). — Summary data will now appear after workout blocks and between intervals showing Time, Average Pace, Average Heart Rate and, for VitalPro users, Average Ventilation and Efficiency %. Efficiency will be displayed as Actual/Target when available. Targets will appear if your historical data passes quality checks. — Workouts will now pause between different workout blocks. Press Start to proceed to the next phase. — Summary data will appear for up to 10 seconds during recoveries in between intervals. — Interval counters will now reset for each set—for example, 1/4 to 4/4 for strides, then 1/10 to 10/10 for the main interval set. — To try this new feature, you will need to update both your phone and Garmin VTCheck apps and then sync your watch to your phone by pressing the “Upload Templates Settings” card in the first screen on the mobile app. If your target Efficiency % changes over time, you will need to resync the watch to the phone to receive the update.
