Evensplit compares the lap you are running right now with your previous lap and with your average lap. It keeps a ghost of the previous lap and tells you, second by second, how far ahead or behind you are at the same distance, and it predicts the time you will finish this lap in. It works for running, cycling, swimming and any sport with laps, with auto-lap or the lap button. It fits every field size: the gap to the previous lap in a small slot, the lap pace with an arrow, the gap and the predicted lap time in half a screen, and a full screen with a table of your last laps, the average lap, a comparison of pace, heart rate, power and cadence, your negative split over the whole session and how even your laps are. WHAT IT DOES - Ghost of the previous lap: gap in seconds at the same distance, green when ahead, red when behind - Lap prediction: finish time of this lap at your current pace, and whether you will beat the previous one - Lap table of the last laps and the average lap, heart rate in Garmin zone colors - This lap vs previous lap vs average lap for pace or speed, heart rate, power and cadence, with arrows and colored differences - Knows auto-lap by distance or by time, and work/rest intervals: a hard lap is compared with the previous hard lap - Negative split over the session (second half minus first half) and the spread of your lap paces - Optional vibration, beep and pop-up when you fall behind the previous lap, and a lap summary pop-up - Gap, lap pace difference, lap spread and split saved to the FIT file - Pace or speed chosen from your sport, or power or heart rate indoors; sun mode with high contrast; five languages WHAT IT NEEDS - Laps: auto-lap or the lap button (before the first lap it assumes 1 km or 1 mile) - Optional in the settings of the Connect IQ app: compare by pace, speed, power or heart rate, compare with the previous or the best lap, a fixed lap length, the alert threshold and colors - On watches with little memory for data fields (such as fenix 6, Forerunner 55, Instinct 2) the full-screen table, pop-ups, interval detection and the ghost at the same distance are left out; the gap is then based on the average pace of the previous lap - How to add: start an activity, open Settings, then Data Screens, pick a screen and a field, then choose Connect IQ and Evensplit. Then press BACK until you see the activity screen and scroll to that page. Until the activity has data it shows dashes (--).
