Just Trail IQ — Watch Face with a Living Trail Map The map IS the progress bar. A hand-drawn topographic route is painted across the dial, and as your selected metric climbs, the trail fills from start to finish with a GPS-style arrow marker sliding along it. Your day unfolds as a journey across the mountain. THE MAP PROGRESS BAR (unique to this face) Pick a metric — Steps, Calories, Active Minutes (week), Floors, Battery, Solar — and the trail paints itself in real time. The arrow marker advances along the exact path, past ridges and switchbacks. Three hand-drawn styles: Hill, Forest, Canyon. Trail Done + Arrow are hex-customizable. FEATURES • Time — Large digital hours and minutes with customizable colors. Optional Military Format. • Date Band — Symmetric band at the top of the screen, placed above the time, color-customizable. • 5 Data Fields (F1 left round + F2–F5 stacked right rows): HR, Steps, Floors, Distance, Calories, Active Calories, Active Minutes (day/week), Battery, Weather (native), OWM Weather, Humidity, UV, UV+Solar, Wind, Wind+Beaufort, Next Sun Event, SpO2, Altitude, Pressure, Altitude+Pressure, Body Battery, Body Battery+Stress, Stress, VO2 Max (Run/Cycle), Recovery, Respiration, Sensor Temp, Weight, Week Number, Secondary Time, Moon, Notifications, Bluetooth, Solar, Seconds, Day, Day+Month. • 2 Round Progress Rings — Top at 12 o'clock and bottom at 6 o'clock, with independent fill and empty colors. OPENWEATHERMAP SETUP (optional — for UV, Wind, Humidity, AQI, Location) Uses One Call API 3.0 ("One Call by Call"). A card is required at subscription, but you will NOT be charged as long as you stay within the free tier of 1,000 calls/day. 1. Sign up at https://openweathermap.org 2. Subscribe to "One Call by Call" at https://openweathermap.org/price 3. Set "Calls per day (no more than)" to 1,000 in Billing. 4. Copy your API key (takes a couple of hours to activate). 5. Paste it into "Your OpenWeatherMap API Key" in settings. 6. Weather Update Time: 10, 15, 20, 30, 45 or 60 min. Prefer not to use OWM? Use the native Garmin Weather options — no key needed. GPS COORDINATES OWM weather/UV/Wind/AQI/Location need GPS coordinates. The background service reuses them from the last GPS activity or from Garmin Weather (phone position). If unavailable, start any GPS activity, wait for lock, then stop it — the watch face caches the position and updates on schedule. CUSTOMIZABLE COLORS (hex): Background, Foreground, Hours, Minutes, Date, Icons, Frame (+ gradient end), Band, Band Foreground, Round Field F1 Background, Notification, Complication Foreground, Solar, Trail Done, Trail Arrow, and both Round Bars (fill + empty).
