The rim is today's daylight: sunrise to sunset lit on a 24-hour scale, with the sun riding it and the hour marked. Inside sit a big split clock, a trace of your own heart rate over the last hours, a second time zone, and a ruled grid where every value carries its icon. 760 COLOURS ON YOUR WATCH Pick any of 760 colours from a colour wheel right on the watch, for every colour setting. THE DAY ON THE RING The daylight band comes from your synced location, so it follows the season and wherever you are. Sunrise and sunset stay marked on the ring all day, and after dark a marker takes the sun's place. Show daylight with the sun, daylight alone, the 24-hour scale, or sixty segments that fill once a minute. Numerals every two hours, every six or none, or switch the ring off and let the rest of the face spread into its space. LIVE READINGS A trace of your heart rate over the last hours, or of Body Battery, stress, SpO2, temperature, elevation or pressure, with its peak, or its peak and low, tagged. Draw it as an area, a line, bars, steps or a fading gradient. Or a goal history: the last seven days against your goal. Across the top, a second time zone or any metric, and the weather or any metric; beside the date, two more readings. Below, a ruled grid of up to five cells, each a choice of 88 metrics: heart rate, resting heart rate, stress, Body Battery, SpO2, respiration, sleep, recovery, VO2 max, race predictions, steps, floors, distance, calories, intensity minutes, temperature, weather, sunrise and sunset, and more. The first cell carries a goal bar toward your watch's goal or a target you set. The goal bar can be segmented, solid or hidden. Press and hold a reading to open that metric on the watch. SIX COLOURWAYS IN ONE FACE Amber, NVG, Ice, Stealth, Desert and Arctic each recolour the whole face in one move. Every reading, the clock, the weekday, the ring and the goal bar can also take any of forty colours. MAKE IT YOURS 12 or 24 hour, with a square, a colon, a dot or nothing between hours and minutes. The date from off to weekday, day and month, named in your watch language or in English. Status cues for do not disturb, Bluetooth, the alarm and notifications, with the unread count. The battery as an icon, a segmented battery, a cell bar or a tape scale, with its percentage or the days left. ALWAYS ON The always-on display is burn-in safe: the clock at a size you choose, the date and battery if you want them, and your chosen status cues, all toned for the always-on screen. Set its brightness from Dim to Brightest. The clock can match the dial, stay neutral, follow the theme or take any of forty colours. SETTINGS Everything above is in the watch face settings in the Garmin Connect IQ app, in 18 languages. Most of it can also be changed on the watch.

Long readings now fit their slots, and a reading with no goal shows its value, not a percent. The week number can now show in any data slot. Seconds can now show on the clock. New Battery fill setting: colour the battery by charge or in your theme colour. New Activity totals: this week's or month's running, cycling, swimming, walking or all-activity distance or time, in any data slot or as a seven-day history in the Trace. V1.0.7 - New Summer time (+1 h) switch for the second time zone. New Goal history in the Trace: seven days of steps, floors, distance, calories or active minutes against your goal. V1.0.6 - New always-on Brightness setting, from Dim to Brightest. Small text is larger and easier to read. AM/PM sits on one line beside the clock where it fits. V1.0.4 - New Seconds only ring: sixty segments that fill once a minute, the current second glowing white-hot. Heart-rate zone colours now show on the trace, and the line follows the trace colour you pick. V1.0.3 - Style the heart-rate trace as an area, line, bars, steps or a fading gradient, with heart rate in its zone colours if you like. Battery styles are back: icon, segmented, cell bar or tape scale. The cell 1 goal bar can be segmented, solid or hidden. The 24-hour ring can show daylight with the sun, daylight alone, or just the scale. Smoother, battery-friendlier drawing of the 24-hour ring. V1.0.2 - Improved battery performance. AM/PM now sits beside the clock. Always-on now matches the main screen.
