Apart, but never out of touch. PulseLink connects your Garmin watch to the people and places you care about. See who is where on a GPS compass radar, follow how everyone is doing with live heart rate, steps and distance, keep an eye on home through a spare phone, and get a nudge on your wrist when someone reaches or leaves a place that matters. It is your watch face all day, and everyone's live screen the moment you head out together. MAIN FEATURES - Create a group and see everyone's heart rate, steps and distance on one screen. - The compass radar shows where each member is, with direction and distance. Save a place, share it with the group, and get a notification when somebody arrives or leaves. - A live camera on your wrist. Turn a spare phone into a fixed camera and keep its view right on your watch face. Share it with the group, with motion detection built in. - Crew distance on your watch face. Without opening PulseLink, put the distance to a Crew member in a data field of your watch's own face. Hold it to open the radar. - Your own photos on the watch face too. Store up to five and switch between them with one touch. WHERE IT FITS - Keeping an eye on family. A parent's daily walk, a child's way to school. You are told when they arrive and when they leave. - The stray alert buzzes your wrist as family moves away, at 100m, 200m, 500m, 1km, 2km, 3km, 4km, 5km, 10km, 20km and 50km. V2.7.1 Info-bar icons - The weather and physical bar icons have a new design, the same as The Face (weather, humidity, pressure, altitude, heart rate, steps, floors, calories, weight). - Clear and partly cloudy skies show a moon at night. Night is decided by sunrise and sunset where you are. Radar - Under each member's marker, the time since their position was received (e.g. 3m) is always shown. Positions older than 10 minutes stay grey, as before. - The altitude difference (such as +150) is no longer shown. Date and settings - The date now reads like "Oct 11 Sun". Crew - In The Face's Crew part you can now choose heart rate and steps as well as distance (when that member shares them). The number of PulseLink complications is unchanged. Unit settings (new) - Choose the units for temperature, pressure, altitude, wind speed and weight (app settings: Temperature unit / Pressure unit / Altitude unit / Wind speed unit / Weight unit). - Temperature, altitude and weight default to Auto and follow your watch's unit settings. If your watch uses °F, ft or lb, PulseLink now shows those units after the update. - Pressure can be hPa, inHg or mmHg. Wind speed gains an Auto option; a unit you already chose stays as it is. Watch-face complications - Nearest (whoever is closest) has been removed and replaced by Crew 1-3, the members you choose. - You → Watch face → Complications no longer shows your chosen members as removed right after reopening the app. V2.7.0.2 Unit settings (new) - Choose the units for temperature, pressure, altitude, wind speed and weight (app settings: Temperature unit / Pressure unit / Altitude unit / Wind speed unit / Weight unit). - Temperature, altitude and weight default to Auto and follow your watch's unit settings. If you placed Nearest on your watch's own face, put Crew 1-3 there instead. - You → Watch face → Complications no longer shows your chosen members as removed right after reopening the app. V2.7.0 Crew distance on your watch face (new) - See how far away a Crew member is on your watch's own face or any face with Connect IQ data fields, including Face It, without opening PulseLink. Four fields: Nearest (whoever is closest) and Crew 1-3 (members you choose). - Pick who Crew 1-3 are under You → Watch face → Complications. Each field shows the name and the distance in your watch's units, and reads "--" when either position is older than 15 minutes. - On faces that support it, hold the field to open the compass radar directly; BACK returns to the face. Security strengthened - Security has been strengthened. Please open PulseLink once after updating. - PulseLink's web pages (image upload, camera, viewer, data deletion) now ask for a Web code shown in the watch's Device ID menu. - You → Device ID is now a menu: Web code, Sign out web (signs out every web page and camera signed in with this watch) and Background (the last update while the app was closed). Background update fixed - The 5-minute background update was not running reliably on real watches. It now does: heart rate, steps and, with location sharing on, your position reach your Crew about every 5 minutes while the app is closed. Refinements - The radar opened from a watch face now shows members sooner. V2.6.0 Alerts - Arrive and leave alerts (new).
