Data field modes: * Interval – for workouts with changing intensity. * Endurance – for longer, steady-intensity sessions. How to switch modes: Go to Garmin IQ → Settings for the data field linked to your device. For best accuracy: Calibrate your oxygenation zones using three steps questionnaire and select your athlete type (endurance / mixed / sprinter). This improves detection of how quickly your lactate rises and clears. Q-LAC sensor using infrared light analyses lactate, muscle oxygenation and hemoglobin. Indicates training intensity according to concentration of lactic acid using a non-invasive method. It allows you to dynamically display the intensity of exercise and the actual muscle condition with hitherto unknown accuracy.
