A vintage sector dial with an astronomical touch. Heritage Observatory combines an ivory dial, serif numerals and blue leaf hands with a red seconds subdial and a changing moon phase. Heart rate and daily steps sit in the two lower fields. FEATURES - Analog hour and minute hands with matching widths. - Dedicated seconds subdial. - Moon phase calculated on the watch. - Heart rate and daily step count from your Garmin device. - Typography and graphics adapted to different display sizes. - No phone connection, weather account or location setup required. MIP DISPLAYS The seconds hand stays visible while the watch face is active, then for 20 seconds after the watch reports sleep. The full ivory dial remains visible after seconds disappear. Backlight timing is controlled by the watch and may differ from the face's active/sleep timing. AMOLED DISPLAYS The active face has the same ivory design. In sleep, a minimal analog always-on view shows hour and minute hands on black, without seconds or health fields. Wake the watch to restore the complete face. Sleep visibility also depends on the watch's Always On Display setting. MOON PHASE The Moon is an approximate phase illustration with a fixed northern-hemisphere orientation. It does not rotate to match your local sky. Set the correct date and time on your watch. HEART RATE AND STEPS Unavailable readings are shown as --. A genuine zero step count is shown as 0. The watch face uses readings already supplied by the device; it does not start a separate recording. PRIVACY Sensor History is used to show a recent heart-rate value when needed. The watch face does not upload readings, maintain its own health-data log, request GPS, or include advertising or analytics. Garmin services operate separately.
