Just New IQ — Premium Digital Watch Face A feature-rich, fully customizable digital watch face designed for athletes, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone who wants complete control over the information on their wrist. CUSTOMIZABLE DATA FIELDS 7 configurable data field positions can display any combination of: Heart Rate (with zone coloring), Steps, Floors, Distance, Calories, Active Minutes (daily/weekly), Battery, SpO2, Altitude, Barometric Pressure, Notifications, UV Index, Wind Speed, Air Quality, Moon Phase, Solar Intensity, Body Battery, Stress Level, VO2 Max, Recovery Time, Respiration, Week Number, and Secondary Timezone. 3 PROGRESS BARS Three independent, color-coded progress bars can each display: Heart Rate, Battery, Steps, Floors, Calories, Active Minutes, Solar Intensity, Move Bar, UV Index, Sunrise-Sunset, Air Quality, Body Battery, Stress Level, or Bluetooth status. SUNRISE & SUNSET RING A circular ring visually tracks the sun's position throughout the day. Color-coded arcs show dawn, sunrise, daylight, sunset, and night phases at a glance. Optional hour markers (12, 02, 06, 18, 22) help you read the sun's position. A moving dot follows the current time — orange during daylight, white at night. DUAL WEATHER SOURCES Get weather data from Garmin's built-in service or connect your own OpenWeatherMap API key for enhanced data including UV index, wind, air quality, temperature, and location name. Update interval configurable from 10 to 60 minutes. FULL COLOR CUSTOMIZATION Personalize every element with hex color codes: background, foreground, hours, minutes, date, icons, moon, solar intensity, and each of the 3 progress bars — all independently configurable. DATE & CALENDAR INFO Day, day-of-week, and month. Below-date options: day/week/year counters, sunrise/sunset times, or previous/next sun event times. ALWAYS-ON DISPLAY Optimized AOD mode for AMOLED watches shows time and optionally date while minimizing battery consumption. Includes burn-in protection. ADDITIONAL FEATURES - 12h or 24h time format with optional leading zero - Seconds display (toggle, always-on option) - Secondary timezone (UTC -12 to +12, half-hour offsets) - Moon phase, Bluetooth indicator, notification and alarm count - Pressure units: mmHg, Millibars, or Inches - Wind units: m/s, km/h, mph, or knots - Daily calories goal, tick marks toggle OPENWEATHERMAP SETUP For extended data (UV, Wind, Air Quality, Location) the watch face uses OpenWeather's One Call API 3.0, part of the "One Call by Call" plan. Important: OpenWeather requires a payment card when subscribing to this plan, BUT you will NOT be charged as long as you stay within the free tier of 1,000 calls/day — more than enough for this watch face at any update interval. To be 100% safe, set a daily call limit in your OpenWeather account so billing can never occur. 1. Create a free account at https://openweathermap.org 2. Subscribe to "One Call by Call" at https://openweathermap.org/price 3. Recommended: in Billing plans, set "Calls per day (no more than)" to 1,000. 4. Copy your key from "API Keys". Note: a new key may take a couple of hours to activate. 5. In the Garmin Connect IQ app, open the watch face settings. 6. Paste the key into "Your OpenWeatherMap API Key". 7. Set update interval (10, 15, 20, 30, 45, or 60 min). GPS COORDINATES Weather data, Next Sun Event, Sunrise-Sunset ring, and Sun Bar require GPS coordinates, obtained automatically from your phone via the Garmin Weather service. If unavailable, open any GPS activity on your watch (e.g., Walk), wait for GPS lock, then stop the activity. The watch face reuses the last known position. Compatible with 90+ Garmin devices including Fenix 5/6/7/8, Epix 2, Forerunner 165/245/255/265/570/645/745/935/945/955/965/970, MARQ series, Venu 2/3, Instinct 3 AMOLED, Enduro, D2, Descent, Approach, and Vivoactive series.
